Hello Crunchy community.
I just need some help, and I know people will most likely lash out at me for not looking at the other "recommend me some anime" threads, but I don't care too much about that.

Lately I've been giving some Anime a shot and I usually burn out on them before I even get to the second episode.
Could be a matter of personal taste, could be the fact that there are so many generic anime titles going around on our available catalogue here on Crunchyroll.com.

So here's a few anime's that I really liked and that I hope could give you who reads this a chance at knowing what sort of Anime I'd potentially enjoy.

Another
Nagi no Asukara
Oreimo (to some extend)
Space Brothers (I'm still crying over the end of the show)
TMo Haruhi (not the chibi stuff though)
Yamishibai

that's about it.

I've been looking for a horror/mystery/thriller sort of Anime forever, but I had to go outside of Crunchyroll to find any.
Among those I found

Jigoku Shoujo
Shiki
and Ghost Hunters <-- even though that one gets slightly boring at times.

Halp?

I posted the link, because every other recommendation topic has been deleted since there's one stickied, regardless of the context of the topic

No offense, but I don't care.
Threads that expands beyond a page usually have their answers drowned in feedback.
Collecting every single thread like this in a single post will simply not work.

And thanks for the replies you two who gave actual recommendations.

Tell that to the moderators that delete the topics, not me. Whether you care or not, isn't going to matter. I'm just giving you the heads up.

Hi Bearbudah. ADennehey is correct. While posting recommendation requests in a shared thread may be a little less convenient for you, we feel it's more effective for the community as a whole to handle requests for recommendations that way.

1) It gives a single place for folks to browse if they want to more passively get recommendations for themselves by seeing what's been recommended for others.

2) It makes it easier to find true discussion topics in the main forums, instead of having them mixed in with a lot of personal topics, such as recommendation requests.

I have closed this thread, in accordance with our moderator policies and CR's site rules. If you want additional recommendations and have not yet posted in the recommendation thread that was linked to, please do so.

Thanks!
