Before I finish a sentence, talking to people, sometimes I just blurt whatever sound from my mouth. I think too fast that my mouth can't keep up. There are times I'm way too focus why a certain word sounds/pronounces like that or how/why the word is that word and I ended up not saying anything at all or just a sudden halt.

Thankfully, friends tend to forgive me if I do that. I don't do it often, however, as it isn't usually a problem. My mind keeps going fast, but I slow down to speak properly.

Asperger's and ADD as well as ADHD.

I am smart as all hell but my inability to focus and my sloth-like personality prevents me from really exhibiting any brainpower I have unless there is an express purpose that I can reason with. That and my Asperger's makes socializing in general and getting outside my comfort zone, even to the point of going out to places, REALLY fucking hard.

Case in point: I could have been top of my class in senior year(Got the second highest ACT scores as well), but due to History and Science being overall boring and having no overall purpose in the entirety of my future career, I just settled for passing instead of top grades. I also had few friends due to my speech patterns and my excessive talking and hyperactivity.

Usually people that have Asperger's and ADD/ADHD are highly intelligent.

So the reason I always did well in school without much effort was because of my ADD? Honestly had no idea.

For me, ADD and ADHD, and whenever I went to the psychologist and a similar doctor they said I showed strong signs of having asperger, but was never fully diagnosed with it.

The hyperactivity from ADHD isn't that bad, I've always been able to control it, for the most part. But when I'm talking to friends and enjoying doing so it just seems to go out of hand, and it ends up giving even me a headache.
The ADD tho, if my quick learning is due to it, then I am glad to have found something positive about it. Because the little focus I have due to ADD ends up ruining many of my fun times.

Asides from those, don't know if it can be called a disorder, but have trouble with my fine motor skills and gross motor skills since childhood. Also a very troublesome thing to have.

*edit: Completely forgot about it before I saw someone post it above. One more disorder(?) I have is social anxiety. Tho since I've lost most of my interest in a social life, this doesn't bother me much anymore. Still ends up affecting my conversations with some friends.

i'm sure if i ever got tested i would have qualified for some kind of disorder. It's all the rage now.

to me it's about discipline and accepting when you did something out of line, then taking the steps to fix it rather than making an excuse. How many times have I heard, "Oh, I didn't finish the assignment or job because I have OCD/ADD/ADHD/etc". Really now.

are there extreme cases that truly need help? yes. But I believe a lot of it to be a lack of discipline and desire to make excuses for ill-bred behavior.
