This is one the recent Sentai and Power Rangers series?

It is either the rangers give up their power or they lose it. I miss those days when a Sentai series has some sort of "dark" story and drama.

I did like the drama on the non-Sentai series... the Tomica Hero Rescue Force.

well, power rangers is intended for kids... so... maybe they don't want to upset those kids.

Because they aim for the kids Audience, if they were aiming for adults im sure one of the characters would die.

Probably because it's a kid show and if something dies parents aren't happy. Like marly and me yes it was freaking a sad ending but I think kids should understand that death is a natural cycle instead of shield them from it from when something does happen and they loose someone or something they can be somewhat prepared but that's just the mom in me rambling.:p

Maybe because it's a kids show? If you want something dark or serious, go watch something else. At the end of the day it's always going to be a bunch of teenagers wearing different colors of spandex, in a giant robot, fighting big monsters. I'm not saying that to insult the show, I'm actually a big fan, but it's demographic is for kids.

The original yellow mighty morphin power ranger died in RL. Does that count? Quite a number of people from the power rangers series has died in RL actually. Kind of a weird feeling since I watched it as a kid.

That is why i indicated "recent".

I missed those days like the Bioman (the first Yellow Four died) and Jetman (Black Condor died at the end).

If any of the Power Rangers from Mighty Morphin wouldve died I probably wouldve cried my eyes out. I was even saddened when I found out Thuy Trang(Yellow Ranger) died.

I'm sorry, is that what you were trying to say in the first sentence? It's a bit confusing since I wasn't sure if it was a question or a statement. Might have to look at that one more time.

I only found out when I searched power ranger deaths on Google because of this thread. Saw the list of people and I was a bit surprised. So many of the ones who died were fairly young too.

Yea. She died from a car accident most likely because she wasn't wearing a seat belt. Tommy Oliver/Jason David Franks' brother, both irl and on the show, also died. He was only 29. The others were around 50 and over I believe when they passed.
