Well, it's pretty obvious. Red protects green, and green protects black, and black protects white, while white protects yellow, and yellow protects blue, and blue protects pink because pink is red and white mixed. Have to play with colours.

Bad guys die all the time in those shows! Some of them were probably even good compatriots... Samurai Flamenco had a great little riff on this, go watch that show if you haven't yet. (The quality goes down noticeably in the middle, but it picks back up in time for the finale)

It's intended for a much younger audience. All those kids probably have their favorites, can't have one of them dead.

I do not know what you are talking about a lack of dying in sentai/tokusatsu series. There's plenty of good guy deaths in sentai/tokusatsu series. Jetman and Bioman, as mentioned earlier, are both dark. The Kamen Rider series start of with deaths to the protagonists family and get darker as they go along. In Kamen Rider Black, Koutaro's birth parents are dead and his adoptive father gets killed in front of him in the first episode. Burai/Dragon Ranger dies in Zyuranger. There's all kinds of death involved in Dairanger. Ryo's father dies in front of him. Kou's mother and brother die in a cave-in. Kaku dies before the epic battle that concludes the series. In Gekiranger, Gekired's father is changed into a monster, but dies as a sacrifice to save Gekired. Rio and Mele die in the concluding battle of the series.

Maybe you're just watching the Saban productions on Nicktoons?

I can give you a list of rangers who died in sentai. Death is more common then you think.

Spoilers for some Sentais just to give a warning.

Like other posters said there are deaths but i guess they are not that common because it might shatter the younger audience's childhood lol

The problem with characters dying on shows like the power rangers and others is the fact that they were made for children. But here's where I think differently, I think kids should watch shows where bad things happen because it can make for a lot better story, I mean other shows where only have good things only end up being boring. I know that kids don't care if it has good story or not I simply think that there should be bad occurrences every now and then in these kind of shows.
