Ah yes, also, I completely hate Kugimiya Rie tsunderes. Taiga is the one exception.

Despise Shana, Hate Aria, Loathe Louise, Dread Nagi.

Kugimiya for anything else is great.

- I hated the several manga of Rosario Vampire I read and probably won't watch the anime.
- I love some Ghibli films, but some of them are bleh.

- Evangelion is not the greatest anime of all time. BY FAR. Even if we talk about literary value, symbolism, and meaning, Paranoia Agent and Revolutionary Girl Utena are widely superior, to mention two.
- I dropped Bakemonogatari almost instantly. It bothered me by being basically a run-of-the-mill harem/fanservice show, except it's pretending to be intellectual at the same time.

Gundam Seed Destiny

Holy crap, I see so much hate this one. Even though I love them so much, the character designs and musics are amazing.

I really hate Gundam Seed Destiny because they suddenly made Kira back to a main protagonist while Shinn became a half main protagonist. Seriously, what the heck just happen there? Yeah, I hate it and love it at the same time. The writing is just so bad.

Gundam 00

Holy crap, what the heck just happen? Seriously, Neil died and then his twins brother appears and looks exactly like him. I was so confused.

Too lazy to write more.

1. Gen Urobuchi writes the most unfulfilling anime shows I've ever watched, despite being technically excellent.

2. FLCL is too obscured by its visual style to transmit any kind of worthwhile message.

3. It is possible to objectively say that one anime is better than another. Not everything is totally subjective (blog post on this coming today!).

4. If a show that can be done without fanservice is done with fanservice, the show is less for it.

5. Sword Art Online is a valuable show because of its generally innocent outlook on the world.

6. Miuna from Nagi no Asukara was the worst character in the show and ruined the second cour.

7. Medaka Box and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere are both really fun shows.

8. The ending of White Album 2 ruined the entire show.

9. Senyuu is not funny at all.

I agree with #8. The ending was really unsatisfying. I thought the visual novel continued the story from where the anime left off.

I'm just waiting for that one guy to come in, ignore the rules you put up, and go like "What the hell man? Attack on Titan is awesome!" or "You didn't like Angel Beats? Heartless asshole." Got to love people who don't respect opinions.

Anyway I like just about every anime I see so I can't really be apart of this thread :l

I could not get into Sword Art Online.
I HATE the Eren x Mikasa pairing.
I am probably the only female that thinks that School Days isn't that bad.
It's still incest even if the siblings are adopted, in anime.

Wait, those are unpopular?

I loved Medaka Box, it was the only anime that I absolutely had go to the manga for and read every chapter in basically one sitting.

Horizon was great too, I wish it'd get another season somewhere down the line.

As for an opinion of mine, I couldn't stand AoT's first OP and thought the second was much better.
May add a few others later.

I dislike most of of Ergo Proxy. I found it boring with uninteresting characters and an uninteresting story. Even after some of the big reveals, I personally just felt like "so what...". Plus to me it comes across as trying too hard to be edgy, gritty, and "deep".

I also disliked every single thing about Sunday Without God except the visuals and the premise. Literally.

I also like Strike Witches, but not for the fanservice. I think its a pretty good and fun show. I personally think its a show where you can look past the fanservice when its presented and still enjoy it perfectly well. I don't think it deserves all the hate it gets, and would wager that most (but not all) of that hate come from people who only watched a few episodes and stopped part-way in without giving it a fair consideration.

All fairly unpopular opinions, i'd imagine. My Strike Witches opinion is somewhat odd since I still condemn the fanservice, which upsets some fans, but I also like the show, which lowers my credibility with non-fans. So its an interesting position lol

Hyouka was good in only certain parts, Beyond the Boundary was sh!t, and Chuunibyou season 1 is one of their best works.

Log Horizon was good but ultimately not that fun to watch because it became to weighed down with its "we're going to explain every mechanic", "the politics", and certain characters getting shafted from the spotlight.

Maoyu did a better job integrating economics into the storyline. I was surprised when I learned they're made by the same person.

I think i'm just ambivalent towards all the anime I've watched so far (there weren't many). i can't pretend to hate something that i can't even bring myself to remember. i tend to like individual characters but i usually just exaggerate my like for them. there aren't any special reasons as to why i like them except for the reasons I make up in my head.
