I could honestly care less about Dragon Ball Z, I enjoyed FMP more than FMA (both original and Brotherhood), I never completed the original EVA series but I watched the rebuild films (except for 3.33 because I heard it was terrible), never really cared for Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo, I liked SAO more than Log Horizon even though I thought SAO was mediocre, half of my anime collection consists of ecchi and moe shows, I actually like Gonzo as an animation studio, and I didn't cry at the end of Angel Beats!. There's more but I'll stop there.

Let me get these things off my chest:

1) Sub-elitists:

Now I know I'll get a lot of backlash because I am on Crunchyroll (and this is a pure sub environment) but those who condescend those who watch dubbed anime really piss me off. Now I don't think dub elitists are any better, but there are more sub-elitists and most people who stick to dub just do it out of laziness (and that's their business). Point is; you're not better just because you watched sub anime or anime in its "original form". You watch a show in dub or sub based on which one just happens to appeal to you the most and oftentimes it's whatever's available to you. There are some anime that are better in dub and there are some anime better in sub, but this is often an subjective opinion and it shouldn't be stated as fact that one is better than the other. I almost call sub-elitists super-weeaboos because they thing they got past their weeaboo stage by giving up dub and are trying to get closer to Japanese culture by watching the anime in sub, but in reality, they just are even bigger weeaboos than before.

3) SAO and Guilty Crown: Two sides of the same terrible coin:

I also really couldn't stand SAO and Guilty Crown for the exact same reasons: horrible and pointless plots in the second half of both anime (while first half was actually not bad), needless incest plots, characters are too Overpowered (probably another reason why I can't stand the Big Three as well) and they were disappointing because they had premises that could've done a lot better. They were overblown and I don't understand why people like them.

*claps* That pretty much summed it up nicely. (Especially the sub thing, that gets on my nerves.) But now that you've pointed it out, Guilty Crown and SAO have a lot in common. Including amazing soundtracks, great visuals, and what you mentioned. Though one thing SAO didn't have was a horrible ending. Guilty Crown was guilty of that. Hahaha....eh...
Even so, I still enjoy both shows, why? Because even with these problems,it was still pretty enjoyable. It's kind of hard to explain., but there's still some entertainment in these shows, even with their glaring problems. I'm not saying you have to like them, but you asked, so I'm giving an answer that hopefully satisfies the curiosity you probably never had!

I can respect any opinion you may have about the shows even if I don't agree. I'm all honesty, it was only towards the end of both shows that I stopped enjoying them and in hindsight afterwards that I realized it's issues. To me, a show can have huge flaws and can still be good to me (Angel Beats had an huge plothole but I still liked it). Truth be told, I wanted to like SAO and Guilty Crown (and I agree that GC had a worse ending, btw). It's just they weren't the shows I thought they'd be with those second half (for example, if SAO ended mid season when they got out of the game and they focused on more on the fight to escape the game or even just gave us more boss fights and character development, it could gave been entertaining as heck. I just don't understand why they left the game and continued considering that was the risk factor, that you could die if you fail, and without that plot, what's the point of continuing?)

Also, btw, I watched both shows all the way through; I just wanted to establish that just for my own credibility.

Anyways, I probably kept you here long enough and once again, I respect your opinion, even if these anime frustrate me.

Not being on the hate-wagon against the SAO anime is a fairly unpopular opinion in plenty of places, including here, and likely will also be the cases with Mahouka.

I completely love the original Fate Stay night. I a world where it is hated I still hold it in my chest that contains amazing anime/manga.
And to further make people mad It's even better than Fate Zero

1) Sword art online is the biggest piece of shit i have seen in terms of "popular" anime
2) Echhi/Moe/drama animes are generally really pathetic and stupid with shallow story's and forgettable characters(eg, Strike the blood, Highschool dxd, High school of the dead)
3) Highschool THE worst anime i have ever had to watch
4) Fan service, either targeted at males or females is pathetic.
5) Naruto is utter trash
6) Anohana, Clannad, Clannad afterstory and angel beats all left me with no emotion at all, i was not attach to any of the characters and the endings just seem rushed and deaths just seem to be there for the sake of just people going " huehue its so sad i cried my eyes out", the endings of Anohana was not even remotely sad the same with angel beats.
7) Pokemon is overrated
8) Kill la Kill is just downright stupid
9) I think the moe genre is so cancerous its unbelievable

1) I don't like Key stuff
2) I actually like Evangelion but I don't consider it the be all and end all of anime
3) I personally feel that Kill La Kill ranged from a 5/10 it its worst to a 7/10 at its best
4) G Gundam is best Gundam
5) idolm@ster > Love Live
6) I don't like HanaKana all that much

There are some anime I refuse to watch because I either feel disgusted watching them or I am too freaked out by the story and/or characters (not that I am judging anyone who likes them). Anime like Black Butler, Neon Genesis Evangelian and so forth are just messed up in my opinion.

I honestly thought that while the English dub was good, it wasn't as good as some were saying in my opinion.

I like the Alfheim Online arc more than the first arc, I thought it did a lot of things right that the original screwed up on (a coherent, linear story without many closed sections.) I even like the backdrop of saving Asuna, and Asuna was my favorite character.
I also found Another to be really good and even scary in some places, though only the part about it being scary is considered "unpopular."
Finally, Ah! My Goddess is a better love story than Maison Ikkoku, Titanic, and Clannad combined.
Edit: Just thought of one more thing, Lelouch was an idiot. Almost every choice he made ended up with multiple people hurt. He couldn't see past his own ego to lead the black knights properly.
So, in short, Emperor Charles was right when he abandoned him in Japan.
