Not really. I'll probably have forgotten by tomorrow.

Then he's not an idiot :).

So the guy who buys some expensive equipment only to wreck it with sauce and vegetables isn't an idiot? How the hell is that logical!?

you still think it's valuable, that's your problem and you will continue to. i don't think you'd need to know what the product has to offer or what the price points are, the message is clear.

What do you mean when you say 'valuable'? Are you saying Macs are shit or that for all we know it could already be broken? Either way I've never wanted a Mac and don't see why I ever would so the fact you think I value it is stupid.

YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH MONEY :<

But yeah. Those idiots probably didn't have to lift a finger to get the money which is why.. they don't know how hard and strenuous it is -.-
Hence, the money wasting.

People who do honest labour are pretty you know? They care about the way they invest their money. Cause.. they're smart.
Gets It.

I think people put too much stress on money, for one. Two, I think people put too much merit into these YouTube videos when it comes to destruction of devices. Channels like "HowToBasic" destroy loads (and I mean loads) of electronics without blinking an eye. Does it bother me? No. Should it? No. Why does it bother you, or even make you think that they've got "too much money"? I wouldn't consider this particular person an idiot, either. I find it more foolish to worry about money and how much money another person has than to destroy electronics (despite being a computer/tech geek in general). But hey, that's just me.

let's try this another way. In your mind this guy bought this with his own money and he might also be perhaps fairly rich, correct? you said earlier, rich people put 30,000 or so into charities and even that is little money relative to how much they have.

what does your own reasoning tell you?

That he has a lot of money? That he donates to charity? I don't know. But going off what 'gets it' said, you're essentially saying people put too much value into money and we shouldn't worry about him destroying stuff? Forgive me for being slow, it's 12am where I am and I'm not exactly wide awake.

people with too much money are usually the first ones to say money cant buy happiness.
just shows how there never have been without money.
money can buy happiness. dont belive me?
try being homeless and broke for a few months. a shower and a toilet are nothing special untill you dont have them any more.

In the end I just wish he'd put the cash towards helping people or something he was going to use rather than spending it on stuff he's going to wreck. There are some who'd probably love to have the tech he gets, and there he is smashing it to pieces on camera. I'm not really calling him an idiot with the intent of being mean, I just thought the concept of what he was doing was painful to watch, at least as someone with not much money. Anywho, goodnight to you, too.

Interesting... I'm now thinking that guy is not all that stupid after all... I mean, he's probably making more money off of the attention this thread has given his videos. That's quite smart to do something like that knowing people will dislike it but still be very drawn to it.. I've never thought about it like that before...

Very interesting..

I believe ppl who do that are those who never had to work for it...

ppl who worked hard for their money usually are not wasteful with it...

yea but you can't generalize every rich person like that though. That is a great point and I don't disagree but i'm sure there are those who have earned loads of money and still waste it.

I think whether they earned it or not, well it is a waste but people will do whatever the hell they want to do with their money. If I had that kind of money to waste I wouldn't but that's just me. I'm not gonna judge other people because they find something else to be a fun thing to do and use their money to do that.
Inherited or earned, its their hobby is my point, I guess I didn't have to explain it like I did

and that's exactly how advertising works, most of the times other people do it for you. in fact word of mouth is one of the strongest form around.

So my question is, what do you think about people with too much money for their own good?

I think anyone with too much money can lose their head...that kind of thing can happen to anyone.

Do you think there's a better way for people with a overload of money to use them?

Yes, so much can be changed & improved on how people use their money. Many get so caught up in materialism or trying to provide too much for their family, kids, etc that they spend more money for toys then actually giving their family attention.

Honestly, I'm just a little sad that the safety devices on the LiPo in that Mac worked. I'd have loved to see it blow up in his face after putting it on an open flame.

I wish I was never grown up as spoiled as I was, because it has led Me to being non-appreciative of MANY MANY things that so many others would literally KILL to be in the same position of, which I have simply taken advantage of...My House was willed to Me, as was My Car...I've literally paid for nothing and have a Paypal full of greenbacks so ridiculous it would make You sick. But when I see People do things like that, You know, burning the Macbooks and the PS4s and stuff, it pisses Me off.

With MY Money, I'm ALL about Philanthropy as much as I possibly can. I love You Guys. <3
