Not gonna lie...im not that impressed. After i saw so many liked this, i thought i would too, especially for its genre. It was on and off for me in terms of enjoyment. I honestly was about to just finish the episode then drop it because about halfway through, i was just bored. I chuckled here and there but other than that, i really wasn't feeling it.

Ugh...Argevollen...you might have company...

I don't know, i like the characters but i found it to be so boring. I'm actually shocked i didn't like it. I was looking at the screen thinking it wasn't that funny or entertaining.

I liked the autograph part, although i felt i had to forced myself to laugh. But other than that, nope. Not the bicycle scene, not the second confession scene... just...no.

I thought it was frickin' adorable. I'm glad I checked it out on a whim. I guess this will replace Bakumatsu Rock for me, since that show just isn't good so far. Plus, this is the kind of show that you can show to other people and get them hooked on anime, at least for 12 episodes. I like it.

Episode was nice, but I there were times I kept thinking the episode was over when it wasn't.

There seem to be a few scenes in here that only serve to eat up time, and sometimes I felt the comedy scenes could have been done a bit faster. Then again, I thought the same thing about Non Non Biyori, and I still liked that series.

Still a pretty good episode. I guess I'll be watching it every week, as opposed to marathoning it when it's all out.

Oh, and the opening is pretty good. It's honestly it's not my music genre, but I think it's fairly well composed regardless.

all the scenes are in the manga. it's based on a 4-koma webcomic. So it will feel episodic. Similar to Daily Lives of Highschool Boys, or if Tonari no Seki-kun had been 24 minutes instead of 7.

I like it so far. Never read the manga, but from what I can tell its a very funny and clean shojo series.

I was pleasantly surprised just like i was with Rail Wars. That bike scene made me laugh so hard I had to try to not disturb my roommates. Plus the opening is awesome. I was wondering why it somewhat reminded me of Space dandy's opening, and someone pointed out earlier that it has (for a moment) a vague R&B/Motown vibe that Viva Namida invoked. I haven't read the manga, so I'm looking forward to next episode. For me, even if the plot or the character development is lacking, if I get good laugh out of it I'll enjoy it.

Episode 1

This series... I got some good laughs out of this episode.. The OP wasn't bad and the characters designs were great, especially for Sakura. I loved her bow... The character Sakura who is our main girl character wants to confess her love to this guy that likes, but she can't seem to find the right words to tell him. I love the story.. on he's a manga artist and how she is in love with him but can't confess it. I get some manga assistant vibes from this but from a girl's perspective. I'm looking forward to this series...

Those bows remind me of Minnie Mouse.

In any case, they're pretty amusing. That whole bicycle thing just made me want to facepalm so hard, and all those people's faces as they rode by were hilarious. I want to see more of Nozaki, but at the same time I have a feeling this will be something I watch just because, unless it turns out to be super good like The World Is Still Beautiful. That doesn't seem likely, but I've been wrong before.

If you found the comedy lacking in this first episode then episodes 2 and 3 might be more up your ally. They'll introduce new characters who all play off each other wonderfully- and it's not just particular pairs, the author loves to mix it up and show all the character relationships. As some have said, it's rather reminiscent of School Rumble. When compared to the manga I found this first episode gave the story a bit more of a romantic angle in order to solidify Sakura's feelings and motivation, but since the manga's deconstruction of romance tropes often leaves me starved for the real deal I found it really enjoyable haha. I can understand why some people might not like the slower pace though...but the new character introduced after the credits (Mikorin~) is one of my favorites comedy-wise, along with the blonde girl they'll be showing next week.

But as most people will say, I absolutely loved this first episode XD I really enjoy good clean comedies like this the most, and the dash of romance is great. A wonderful, WONDERFUL adaption. Sakura's newbie seiyuu is especially pleasant- she did a lovely job singing the ED!
