I really suck at remembering names. I sometimes even struggle remembering a name of an completely ordinary object if I haven't used it in a while. I also might get these blank outs and just forget a particular name.

Otherwise I have a pretty decent memory. It's kinda weird though, I just remember the random things that have nothing to do with each other. I'm good at remembering places though.

I usually rely on logic rather than memory anyway.

I...wait, what was this topic about again?

Seriously though, I have a decent memory though i struggle to let my memories come out when they're needed the most.

I'm good at remembering faces, places and anything that I'm passionate about. The rest, well it's a hit or miss. Either I'll forget it completely, or I'll remember it after someone jogs the memory. I guess the brain is filled with so many geek files, it just had to start doing some clean up/compressing.

Pretty awful. But I am good at remembering names and faces, and certain details/events that have made me experience a strong emotion. But other than that, sometimes I forget important things about my closest of friends, and they get offended.

In reply to the OP: I have a terrible memory, except when it comes to numbers. Dates, quantities, formulas, etc. just seem to stick. Everything else does not. I'm always trying to improve my memory though ^.^

My memory is terrible too, and same here. That's why I admire Kaori Fujimiya from Isshuukan Friends. lol.

I can remember the first day that my aunt introduced me to my cousin after she brought him home from the adoption agency. That was over fifty years ago. I remember the carpet in the room , the big green couch and details about their house.
BUT
I cannot, for the life of me remember people's names.... Unless I write it down or ask them about a half-dozen times I'll forget it.....
