Hi,

I moved this over to Site Support / Minor Questions, since, as others have noted, there are several polls and threads dealing with which is better, best if this didn't turn into another one of those.

Can't really answer your question, though. I have a feeling CR will continue to focus on streaming anime, which will mean mostly subtitled shows, but with the rise of stuff like RWBY, you never know what the future might hold.

Neon Alley now makes all their programming available on Hulu, or you can access it via the Viz website. It is no longer a paid service.

Since Crunchyroll mainly does simulcasting I doubt we'll see a huge uptake on dubbed anime. We're just not seeing a lot of series that are simulcasting in multiple languages. The extra license fees to acquire the dubbed audio are likely a big factor as well. Crunchyroll is also a niche website where most of it's target audience doesn't care about dubs, if adding dubs wouldn't increase the subscriber count significantly enough to pay the extra expense they would be reluctant to do so.

its really annoying when you turn your head to say something to somebody or look at your plate to eat something and you have to rewind or just miss out on what a character says because its subtitled and not dubbed im tired of people telling me oh just keep reading the dubbed versions and it will be like there not even there and worst the people that want to seem so much cooler because they dont like the dubbed version because you loose some of the quality in the translation i dont want to read something im watching because im tired of having to skip back because i missed something every time i take a bite off my plate or because i look away for a second and i have news for you your not better than me just because i like dubbed anime

Have you looked into FUNimation, Hulu, or Netflix? All will likely have a larger variety of dubbed anime than is currently available on CR.
