I'll be returning to runescape when the legacy mode update happens or sword art online season 2 starts. Whatever comes first.

The lack of Phantasy Star Online 2 in this thread makes me sad. It's free to play, and there's no pay2win either. Character Customization is the best I've ever seen, and it's got loads of classes and weapons. It's not a boring click n shoot either! You roll, block, free-roam, aim, lock-on, you control EVERYTHING It's amazing. Have a trailer:

Guild Wars 2

Edit: In the past I have played Guild Wars 1 and World of Warcraft Vanilla for about a year and a half. I also tried out Star Wars Online and Lord of the Rings Online but didn't stick to either past a few weeks.

I'm waiting for archage

been waiting for blade and soul... lol

however NCsoft is a good company but they suck for not localizing blade and soul yet
check out wild star if you're looking for a pay to play

suggestion of companies to avoid
Aeriagames and webzen

i dunno about ncsoft, they started with 5 localizers, and now its down to 1. says something you know, our best hope is for the chinese who actually are patching up english slowly but surely though.

aeriagames, had some of the best games ever. only sad part is that they suck. the games that were good and they didn't mess up in there normal way, died because they suck at advertisement.

anywho, i've been sticking to regular rpg and action single player games. i play league of legends once in a while.

s4 league is a good game, but popularity died out so its hard to find people to play with, though i haven't touch it in almost a year.

still looking for the next big thing, since runescape and maplestory.

o yea i really love age of wushu, really awesome game. only issue is the trolls and the bad service.

Been playing Landmark with my stepson a lot.. I have enjoyed it since Alpha..but it is not a complete game yet.. just building right now.. But the game has a lot of potential you can see clearly. in the engine.. but Sony does what it does best and wants to make it near dummy proof and instant gratification.

As far as complete games there is not one even coming out soon that is worth seriously playing in my eyes.. But there is hope in the future with large sandbox titles that abandon theme park mmo gaming that will come up in the next 2-3 years or so... Archeage and Wildstar are both themepark hybrids but I doubt they very well..

If you played a first gen MMO before instances were invented you'd know that what a lot of old EQ and other game vets miss is the community the harshness of the worlds encouraged.. You could not just play by yourself until you were pretty good at the game, and adversity breeds community; those things together make a world you can get fully immersed in each night. Having to rely on grouping made people more pleasant to be around.. As trolls found it hard to get groups and play if everyone hated them. Ah I could keep going for ages... Back to work.

"Technically", it is, since it's not been released in the US/EU. But it's extremely easy to set up (You can download the english setup here: http://arks-layer.com/setup.php), and there's a tool on that site called the PSO2 Tweaker that handles updating, installing english patches, troubleshooting, settings, everything (even better than the official launcher). There's a registration guide on there as well.

I'm currently playing Guild Wars 2, but will be playing Wildstar once the early access period begins. Let's hope it's actually a finished product, unlike *cough cough* ESO.

FFXIV is boring.

My MMO experiences have been pretty shit apparently :D

xD really? That's freaking hilarious. Was it a total bust again?

If you're referring to Final Fantasy XIV, then yeah it wasn't that great. I mean the leveling and the story were pretty nice up until toward the end, then the last few levels is grinding, and the end game is god awful.

I only play Castle Age, Witchcraft, and Dawn of the Dragons on a regular basis. All Facebook games. I've tried some others, but they didn't hold my interest. Thinking about dropping Castle Age (again), since it feels like it's pretty much abandoned. I've played WoW: Mists of Pandaria and loved it, though that was only a free trial. I'll get WoW for myself eventually, especially once I have a better laptop. I really want to get Elder Scrolls. I've seen alot of playthroughs on Youtube, and I've been roped in. I've played DC Universe a few years ago, and also liked it. I adore the styles of WoW, DC Universe, and Elder Scrolls. I'm a sucker for tons of exploration, treasure hunting, and plenty of character personalization.
