So does anyone here use Kdrama (now SoompiTV)?

So I know CR has a lot of dramas on here, and some on here are on K drama as well, but does anyone else use their site also? O.o?

I have, but not a lot. Right now I'd just as soon watch the catalog titles using CR, so I've just been looking at simulcasts on Kdrama.

I did watch all of "My Love from the Stars" there, and I know I've started one or two other things--but don't recall the titles. Mostly because I just haven't had much time to watch Drama lately. Also it's a bit less convenient because I mostly use my Roku, and there isn't an updated Kdrama app for that yet (the one that's there just has the stuff that's already on Crunchy). It does work pretty nicely using Airplay on an iPad to stream to AppleTV though.

Have you been using it? What do you think? Any of the simulcasts any good? (I'm a sucker for the really over-the-top melodramatic shows, and My Love from the Stars wasn't quite over-the-top enough

I don't because I just stick with what I can watch from here, dramafever, or "other means"

I'm just trying to get through what I can in CR. The only K drama that I've seen not in CR is "Let's Eat"

I don't use Kdrama. I also don't really use my Drama Fever account much either, since it's heavy on the Korean when it comes to their catalog of titles. I'll use Drama Fever to watch some telenovellas or Japanese dramas (and much like crunchyroll, they do not have much of anything Japanese on their site either). I've tried Korean dramas on and off for about four years and they always boil down to the same basic poorly-executed plot line. I gave up on Korean dramas.

I love some Korean drama, but I use my Roku for my viewing so I'm sticking with Crunchyroll right now until Kdrama can update their app.

I decided to try the trial for K-Drama so I could watch Hotel King. I was somewhat surprised at the lack of app integration, considering how CR is so app-tastic. But then again, it IS a beta version, so I can't overly complain, especially with it currently being free for 90 days.

Would love to see an app for Roku, since so many use it, but PS3/Vita would be great for me, too. Currently Chromecasting and had to do it at the 360p(!), but that can get annoying tab-wise+full screen when it's not an integrated cast like it is with Youtube.

I decided to try KDrama when I found out, by chance, that Crunchyroll All-Access members get free access until the end of the year.

I am very new to Asian dramas, currently watching Coffee Prince on Crunchyroll and Fated to Love You on KDrama.

I notice that Crunchyroll seems to be focused on J-Dramas this season now that they a special site for K-Dramas.

I watch most of my videos on my Apple TV, so it would be nice to have full AirPlay support, being able to play in the background. Currently, I have to turn Auto-Lock off, turn AirPlay on using the system-wide button, and then play the video. But, it works better than some other AirPlay enabled apps.

I don't use it, I use Viki for my Kdramas. I didn't even know they had that site tbh. I may decide to give it a try later on though.

Kdrama is actually getting a lot of shows that Dramafever is not, so I use the Apple app all the time. I wish that they would update the Roku app to be the same, so I could watch the shows full screen.

I've watched a couple things, but to be honest, while the iOS app works great, the lack of a history feature in the app (and that what you watch on the app doesn't get updated in your account history on the website) makes it hard for me. When I have a few minutes and think I want to pic up on something I started, I often can't remember what episode I left off at and don't have to time to be skimming through episodes until I find the right one.

Disappointing considering that they are a sister company of CR--you'd think they'd have some of the really great features the CR app has--which includes syncing of queue and what you've watched across devices. Right it seems only the Favorites list is shared.

Note: For anyone who isn't familiar with kdrama.com they've now become SoompiTV
