When I originally heard about this anime I expected I'd really take a liking to it as I tend to always enjoy Slice of Life anime. However, the opening episode totally surpassed my original expectations. The characters all seem to be really likeable and the chemistry between them works perfectly. I'm impressed that I was able to actually enjoy the character of Naru and had no desire to immediately roll her out of my house like Handa did. The music is also really enjoyable and I'll definitely find myself listening to the ED when I go running. If the anime can keep this level of enjoyment then it's bound to be one of my favourite.

Wow, real classic slice of life! Not quite the cute girls doing cute things shows we've received lately though it is made by many of the same people who animated Yuyushiki and there are a few cute girls but anyway, really great first episode! Hopefully I can give it proper views somewhere soon.

Edit: Funimation got it.

This was effing cute. I think this is going to be one of the best slice of life shows. Ever.

I wish I could punch someone and get sent to a tropical island. lol Also love how everyone seems to treat southern Japanese like it's (US) redneck talk.

Episode 1
Nice punch,that guy deserved it.

Dat adorable loli.Though her voice sounds rather boyish (and well uncute),but I guess their trying to be realistic because not all japanese people sound like KanaHana).

Hina is annoying though, too much cry.

FUN

I want to see him write an apology to the guy he punched in the face that goes "Dear sir, may I please return to Tokyo to punch you again? This has been the greatest thing to ever happen to me in my life, I'd like to see if the effect stacks."

Am I right that none of the normal streaming channels have this, or am I just being blind?

LOL, third punch would likely kill him from sheer pleasure. xD

Had to look up Junon Boy because I never heard of it before... Something like Seventeen here in the States, it's a beauty pageant type thing for boys; also a magazine (Junon).

Funimation got it, just announced. No airing date yet. Probably will also put it on Hulu as usual.

Episode 1

I actually enjoyed this first episode.. It was cute and funny. The two main characters are awesome.. I love how they are both unique, but they work well together. I can't wait to see the development in them and see how they progress. The story is different, because I never even heard of calligraphs... This might be my replacement from the kawia complex... I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

EPISODE 1

Very nice episode. I love the detail they put on the setting. We see this in live action but rarely do we get this stuck somewhere that doesn't fit in the modern area. When you have been to places like this, you appreciate the setting.

I even love the touch they added with the locals. In the countryside, locals are always soo friendly.

The MC even learns something at the end of the episode. I'm also liking the chibi girl. I hope they make her realistic and not like all these loli characters that are blinded by some love for the main character

Also, for some odd reason either the ED felt very nostalgic or I just loved soo much.

I am guessing that the southern Japanese speak with a different Japanese dialect. It may not be the case but that may explain why the MC didn't understand the Grandpa when they where on that tractor.

Yeah, I really liked it too. I really hope someone will start streaming it legally in the USA. I hate having to go to the dark side to watch a show.
