The series is great -- a good mix of humor, romance, and sorrow, and it mostly follows the manga (some character introduction shifts, but not enough to really throw the story out of whack)... but the movies are where some serious liberties are taken with the story:

Well, I guess I won't watch the final movie then. Everyone is saying it is horrid, so I'll just skip it. Thanks for the in-depth analysis!

I would still highly recommend the Clockwork movie, and reading the manga, too -- the last few books especially are definitely worth it! Not only do you get a full understanding of Synapse, but you also get to see what the Angeloids are capable of when they go all out for Tomoki =P And, unlike the Final movie, the manga wraps everything up nicely with a good solid ending. And while the Clockwork movie deviates from the manga, it's still a well done movie imho. ^_^

Well, today I'm gonna go to amazon and buy the clockwork movie so I can already have it when I finish the show. Should I watch the clockwork movie after the first season or after I finish the show?

This is really disappointing to hear..... I loved the series and the clockwork movie, it's a shame they went full retard and hit the self-destruct button on themselves. I was very much looking forward to seeing this movie, but now I think I'll have to pass.

It's set after season 2 of the series. Quite a bit of the first half is sort of a retelling of some of the big events in the series from a different character's perspective, so it's good to already have the "Tomoki view" in mind =)

Ok , I just finished watching it . This was a movie ? Seemed more like 2 episodes put together than a movie . From what I read this is not the ending as in the manga . Apparantly there will have to have at least one more "movie" toend it properly . It still had me misty-eyed at the end though .

Yeah, 2 seasons and 2 movies. Why not? It sold ridiculously well, it was awesome! It was sweet, sexy character design the way it should be (boobies ! <3), nicely perverted harem humor, and just overall really funny and ecchi ;3 I loved it! I mean they're so damn hot ~ (^_^)

And I have seen some pretty awesome cosplay of the series at cons too!

First off, I Loved the first 2 seasons and The Angeloid of Clockwork.

But this movie on the other hand.... I had a hard time even watching the whole thing. I had no idea what was going on during most of it. In my mind I'll just think of season 2 as the ending. That wasn't even the same Anime i was watching right there.

Yep, it ran around 50 minutes =(

It's pretty much just a random selection of scenes from around chapter 68 (maybe a bit earlier, but at least 68) through chapter 77 of the manga with some random filler they made up to connect the Clockwork movie (which has a very different story than what happened in the manga) back to the manga.

If you liked seasons 1 and 2 (and the Clockwork movie), then you'll be better off reading the manga -- the ending alone is well worth it! ^_^
