So ... I am going to move back to my country for the summer break and wanted to take my PC desktop that i brought in the college along with me. Any suggestion on how to pack it ?

It is a Alienware mini desktop X51 which i brought in mind that i will be moving it back to my country during the summer.

Where are you moving from and to?

Moving internationally is expensive. It might be better to sell your PC and then buy a new one.

I have to agree. Desktop PCs as a rule aren't happy about lots of travel. If you have a lot on the hard drive you'd like to keep consider pulling the drive and installing a clean one to sell or donate the unit.

Be easier to take out the graphics card, HDD, Ram, any other cards you dont want to rebuy and just buy a case/mobo and cpu, unless you can bring the CPU and Mobo with you without damaging it. Although tricky with alienwares as they are custom built. But the mobo should fit in any similar sized case.

If you want to bring the desktop with you, you should probably dissemble it, wrap everything up separately in towels or something soft, and hope it all survives the trip.
