Been using Crunchyroll since March last year and suddenly everytime I'm watching my anime it'll freeze after about 5 minutes or so then do it again, and then after a while it'll eventualyl just freeze about 5 times in a row and im constantly having to refresh my page until i manage to get to the end of my episode. I think there may be somethign wrong with my PC but im not particularly sure because I have a Computer elsewhere which works perfectly fine and my tablet also works perfectly fine being used in the same room.

I'm having a similar issue when the ad point comes around, been trying to watch a video and the flash player keeps freezing just before it reaches the ads (I assume it is trying to switch to the ad videos when it freezes). My issue seems to be slightly different than yours, but I am wondering if Crunchyroll is having difficulty with data transfers?

I'm a premium user so I never get ads midway through a video or start or end. I'm not really sure. There isn't really a time it happens it just does it whenever it feels its most annoying >.>

Its a streaming issue and its entirely on their end. I have a desktop and a laptop in the same room one of which I've tried connecting via 3G and one with my wireless broadband. The freezing/stuttering happens all the time, I've tried multiple browsers even run it through a fresh install but to no avail. Reading back over the forums and around the web this has been happening for over a year to people.

I joined CR recently because I wanted to move away from watching anime on pirate stream sites, this way I'm actually paying for shows. But ever single one of these sites has the option to hit play so it downloads the full vid in the play bar. I'm not sure why CR won't let people do this as its so much better. Been trying to watch Hunter X Hunter all day and I think their servers must be chocka because its the weekend, has been truly awful for me today yet Friday not a single issue.

I don't think I'll carry on with my membership with the way its going, expect better.

As of late, the last week or so, flash player randomly crashes when watching anime. At first I thought it was just flash being it's usual crappy self, but it's only on this site. I I go elsewhere to watch stuff I don't have issues.
To sum up my problem, Flash player keeps freezing and crashing on Crunchyroll.

I've been having the same issue. It seems whenever I try to watch anime on Crunchyroll, it keeps freezing. It's gotten to the point where if I pause it and try to hit play again, or just wait it to load (even after a couple of minutes) it just goes to the screen that shows up after an anime has ended, asking me if I want to replay again or watch something else.

Cause is simple CR's server and/or bandwidth is not stable enough to maintain the stream on demand. Its not an uncommon problem most sites resolve this by just increasing the buffer so the video doesn't interrupt when the stream stops on occasion but for whatever reason CR's video buffer is very small, I don't know exactly but I would guess around 1 minute at most all though there are times when it feels like only 15 seconds. I'm sure the reason behind it is they are enforcing a stronger DRM rather than making viewing more enjoyable. Don't know why they even bother any groups out there that do illegal streaming usually have their content before CR does.

I can't even watch any videos because every single one keeps sayinyg "Shockwave flash plug-in has crashed". Crunchyroll needs to fix their sh*t because this is the only site where my flash keeps hanging up.

It ; s really been bad the last week. A t least today I got thru two videos today then the 3rd got 3/ 4 thru and stopped. Had to use spme backdoor tricks to get to finish which it did.

Another annoying problem it stops like at the end credits and dont finish out!

So basically 3 issues seem to be occuring a lot

One The video stops like 2 minutes in.

Two it stops 3 /4 or 1/ 2 way

Three dont finish at the end!

It almost seems it's at where the ads would be!

BTW I watch Funimation too and a liitle lag sometimes but no freeze like here. And anywhere else I go no problems with flash player!

Starting yesterday, Tuesday June 10, I've started to notice buffering issues which are causing the video to stopped. I joined CR as an "all access member" in late December 2013 (six months ago), and have had no problems until now.

I am seeing pretty much the same thing that FLJerry above me says.

I know this is buffering problems, because you can see the buffer length when you press pause (at least on an Android device). Near the end of an episode, probably about 2-3 minutes, the buffer empties, and never re-fills, and the video stops.

This is new for me.

IVe been having the same issues. Have tried different browsers, updating everything, etc. and still does it. Its Definitely on their end because my internet is way more than enough to handle it and same with my pc. Its only been happening this past week. Hopefully itll be fixed soon so i can get back to binge watching and not have to refresh or close the browser out every few minutes

It's so strange, when you all started having this problem, I wasn't.

Now I am. I wonder if you earlier posters still are?
