I am looking for a blu ray player that I can watch Crunchyroll on and saw the http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/DMP-BD91 had internet apps.

Three questions:
1. Does this include chrunchyroll?
2. Is it the sign in version of chrunchyroll or is it the ad only version?
3. What blu ray player's would you recommend?

I couldn't find an app list for the player, so I'm asking here.

Panasonic's own website only appears to list TV's:
http://panasonic.net/avc/viera/global/internet_apps/supported_models/

Looking at the information (http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/DMP-BD91?t=overview) on the model you mentioned, it isn't clear it supports video apps beyond those that come pre-installed. Under specs, for "Internet Apps" it lists "yes (Simple)*6" (with the "*6" referring to a notation that broadband internet service is required).

You may want to download the PDF of the owner's manual (http://shop.panasonic.com/docs/operating-instruction/2014/bluray-player/DMPBD901-MUL.pdf) to verify if it supports downloading of additional apps. (I suspect it does not).

I have the SC-BTT190 blu-ray/home theater player and it's version of Crunchyroll supports login, queue, etc... same app as on my PS3. I would hazard to guess that any "Viera Connect"-capable player made during or after this one would use the same app.

Honestly though I cannot recommend it if your primary goal is to stream Crunchyroll, the fast forward almost never works and rewind often backs you all the way to the beginning of the episode. The PS3 version, Roku version, and the website connected via HDMI to TV are all much better. I guess the Panasonic app is just not a priority for Crunchyroll, probably due to not nearly as many people using it as some of the other flavors.
