For some reason I'm having trouble syncing the avatar with my image. Every time I use a GIF it splits my image in two pieces. Is it because the Gif I'm using is to long of a cycle or is the image to large or to small?
Any help will be great! Thank you!

Crunchyroll has a nasty GIF upload habit. There's a group that usually repairs these here on crunchyroll, but I can't find them at the moment.

For thread posts, it's best to link it from a third party source. For the avatar icon, you need to get it repaired so that it plays nice with the crunchyroll system. It has something to do with the transperancies and such. It's funny like that.

If you find it please let me know. I might have to ask my friends friend I know he makes gif, he said it took him along process to master it, but I've never asked him personally. I've seen him make a post on the forums.

Thank you.

The trick to gifs is to not have any transparency, that is what causes the static. As for making them avatars, you should resize them to 200x200 (or smaller) before you upload it.

For example, that same gif saved without transparency:

I just added a 200 x 200 it kinda works but i tried others and it has a major problem with them. but they might have transparencies that i'm not aware of.
how do you resize a gif? is there a site i can go too?
I know photobucket can't and I don't own photoshop.

Hit "edit skin" on your main profile page on the toppish left under your avatar.
