I sure hope in the future that 3d printing will get involved in books as well. Buying the book cheap online and just printing it out in 15 minutes.

I am a bit confused by this. Why would you need a 3d printer, what's wrong with a normal one? Typically 3d printers use PLA or ABS, either way it would be a plastic book...

Well i did say in the future. Most likely 3d printers will be able to print out other materials. Of course you can print out regular papers now with the manga on it but that sure sounds like a lot of work, not to mention it wouldn't be nearly as good as a hardcover books.

Fifteen Men on a Dead Man's chest...Yo Ho Ho, and a bottle of Rum! Drink and the Devil be done for the rest...Yo Ho Ho, and a bottle of Rum!

..Ooops. I guess I kinda misunderstood this Thread. Dang, and that was one HECKUVA underestimation...

I know how you feel. I'm trying to buy every volume of the Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle manga. I have 17/28 but they are just so hard to find! And here on crunchy I have to pay 11$ for shipping only.. For each book! that's 22$ for each volume.

Anyway, there is nothing like the smell of a new manga. I love it.

in my earlier years, i was quite the pirate. i still remember when napster was running on the Guntella network. hell, i had software for open file sharing network before napster was big.

and then theres now.
today i bought my first manga. two, actually. along with an anime DVD.
it has weight. feel. and the smell. Oh, god. the smell. nothing like the smell of a new book.
and now i feel unusualy good for having actually bought a manga in frigen paper!
its been years since i sold my 104 (no kidding) starwars book collection.
but now i remember why it started.

its the smell. if there is such a thing.

anyways, some how, in all the free manga sites, i forgot the one important thing about books.
its the experiance of it, the feel and how you can take it in the sun and still see it!

anyways, id just thought id share my little profound moment

Good for you.

I asked the same thing about the monthly e-magazines I was getting from GameStop.
I told them that I wanted physical magazines, not electronic ones.
I told them "the feelings"I was getting-- the same as your profound moment.

But, no. They just looked at me like I was weird.

It's so funny reading your post.
It's like you just got an orgasm from literally touching a book.

What smut manga did you buy?
