Besides the obvious anime "Big O," which other manga would look good in B & W anime?
Let's also consider Cowboy Bebop, in some ways.

I think Naruto should be in black and white. They supposed to do this ninja theme, hiding on the shadows.
But Naruto himself is the front contradiction with his blonde hair, blue eyes, and loud color costume.

I have a tough time visualizing what some shows would look like in black and white but I think Gungrave would look pretty good in it, a part of me also wants to say Black Lagoon or Ergo Proxy but I'm not sure

Probably any series that is a bit darker or grittier. I personally can't think of any cause I don't think I have read any, other than a few chapters of Naruto, that I agree since they are suppose to be ninja's shouldn't be as bright and cheery as it is, probably why I am not a big fan of the series, manga or anime.

"Darkest" series I would say I have read is Death Note. I guess Fullmetal Alchemist could be counted too, but that I am still reading through.

The Another manga. The anime tells a longer story and some parts, such as the beach episode, need to have a more light-hearted feel. But I think the shorter manga storyline would look amazing in black and white, maybe with the "Sin City effect" of key coloring: some red blood, a blue eye, etc. but otherwise go for a noir look.
