As much as i love reading manga, its hard to find a manga series that you can read in a single session. I am looking for manga that is no more than about 5 volumes long so that i can read the whole story in one sitting.

Hmmm honestly don't know... Oreimo I think is only 4 volumes, but I can't really remember how or even if it ended. Everything else I own is more than 5 volumes and/or currently on-going.

I'm also a fast reader though, 6 volumes of Death Note Black Edition (2in1 volumes) I was able to read in just one day.

are u talking about one shots those are probably the only stories that u can read in one go some are pretty long though but its usually a 1 chapter story. Depending on the style of manga ur looking for (it can be hard to find a short 5 vol. manga) i know a few but usually those mangas are a hard find .

me i read pretty fast and i dont skip detail so when it comes to reading a huge manga series i can breeze by pretty fast depending how much i like it takes 1 or 2 day for me to catch up (if its a pretty huge one) but i usually do fast and wait for the next chapter thats comming out.

Zombie Powder, and most of Tite Kubo's pre-Bleach one-shots. Seriously, why was he reduced to only one?

Onani[Masturbation] Master Kurosawa. I think it's around 30 chapters + extra LN ending but it's a really good coming of age story despite any preconceptions people have. Don't drop it in the middle or something, but read the whole thing; one of my favourites.

Mayo Chiki is 7 Volumes and is a harem with an ending ( I believe )
Durarara is 4 and 2nd Arc is 3 and a 3rd Arc that I have no clue about but pretty good
Doubt is a horror manga(think saw 2 so a survival in an unknown place held captive etc) and its only 2 volumes granted it is about 350 pages each volume

I recommend Dokuhime (5 volumes), Variante (4 volumes), and Bitter Virgin (4 volumes), though they are notably dark and mature reads.

Looks like you are all set wit plenty of suggestions. In the future if you're looking for recommendations, please post your request in the Recommend Me a Manga thread! which is "stickied" near the top of the Manga forum.

While it's occasionally okay to bump an interesting topic that's dropped back a few pages, it's really better to bump something by actually posting something relevant to the topic. Also, there is no need to bump topics that are only an hour old! Please refrain from this practice in the future.
