From Xbox :

"Also, coming in June, all Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will get access to popular entertainment apps, like Netflix, YouTube, Machinima, and more on Xbox without needing an Xbox Live Gold membership*. This means that everyone can enjoy the amazing gaming, TV and entertainment experiences that Xbox has to offer, right out of the box."

I think this is cool, I have a 360 but am a real casual gamer so I don't really use it much and don't pay for gold membership. I'm not going to pay a subscription for xbox to use stuff I'm alreading paying for.

So in June the Crunchyroll, netflix and hulu apps are going onto my xbox.

Are there any other xbox users without gold here that this is good news for?

Wow really? Maybe I'll actually dust off and use my Xbox 360 for the first time this year.

That gold membership bullshit was such a waste of money, especially after I bought a Roku and realized I could stream media on devices that are silent and cost no additional fees to run apps.
