I've never had an issue with planning or organisation, but I've never actually planned something out properly...

I guess that's how my brain works..? I sort of automatically decide on the important stuff to do and that means that's done. I'll have longish breaks in the middle of some work, before and after because I'd like to, and the quality of my work doesn't suffer, which is a bonus.
I guess I'm lucky in that respect, but my method works for me Don't think I've ever missed a deadline haha

Write down a list of what you need to accomplish and an estimate of how much time it will take you to do each on a tangible piece of paper. If the workload is too much, put some off for the next day. Put all your books, pens, paper, etc. for the assignments in your room of choice (near bathroom). Turn off all unnecessary electronics and put away distracting objects. Get a water bottle or two and some (healthy) snacks. Sit down and start working. Depending on how much work you have, (let's say 4 hours) take a break in 1/4 intervals (about every 1 hour-ish) to rest for 15 or so minutes (no more than 20 minutes). Reward yourself with something like food (CHOCOLATE) or a power nap (make sure you have an alarm). Get back to work and don't stop unless you have to pee or poo or until your break comes. While working, cross off each item you have accomplished. When the list is finished, burn it or something destructive (optional ) Once you master this, shorten the intervals to 1/3 or halfway through and take shorter breaks (>10 minutes).

PS: A five-minute mediation beforehand can clear your mind very effectively.

I hope this helps you and anyone with procrastination problems! It helps me.

Edit: Sorry if this is repetitive of someone else's post.

Not very well. My work hours are very inconsistent, and I devote most of the time I'm not at work to anime and games. But somehow several hours throughout the day just disappear and I can't get as much done as I want. I just kind of sit there and think about stuff I guess and it eats away so much time. I'm terrible at managing time, if I was better with it I could probably find time to start writing again and apply to other jobs since I hate my current one. I spend a lot of time on little things too. I spent about 15 minutes writing this, reading over it a few times, changing a few words, looking at previous posts, and looking through my music playlist for what I want.
If I have plans to go somewhere or do something I don't normally do, I'll spend all day thinking about it and not get anything done at all.

I have to go with a routine or else I will procrastinate as fuck.

Wake up, go to school, go home, eat, relax for 2 hours, do my homework, maybe some time to relax again, and go to sleep.

That's what I do every single day for 10 months during the school year. If I don't do that, I will just do what I feel like and never to get my homework.

I have no time management really, I just sleep, work, anime/game, eat, and repeat my life away. I actually rather enjoy it

The answer i have is very very simple to me at least. first throw your life away and become a shut-in. stop talking to your friends and family and ditch all the things you do during the day and night. that should clear up your day to give you 24 hours. then you find yourself a mini fridge and stock it up with snacks and drinks and vitamin bars. make sure you have every thing you need ready for the long haul like payed subscriptions to crunchyroll and other stuff i may not mention to avoid breaking the rules* make sure you have a tech in mind just incase any thing goes wrong with your pc. you will need some posters of animes you already like. kiss the one you love the most and tell them you will be gone for a long time. then your set.

Now lock your self in your room and watch a marathon of any anime that has more then 24 episodes in 24 hours. if you can do this you are ready for any thing. when you can watch 646 episodes in 1 week you are now a GOD among #NOLIFE

When you finally accomplish that. you wont need a college degree to become a doctor. You can heal the world with beautiful anime that is heart touching. Save us from wars with political anime. Travel space and time etc.

If you need some facts i have some ready for you my friends. This is a documentary, NO GAME NO LIFE check it out.

I do the most important things first, and then have fun. Whenever distractions are present, I think quickly about potential consequences of digressing from what I need to do.

I have a mental list.
Posted 7/2/14
I don't and that's the problem. But I still sort of have a routine.

When I was younger my mom had a set schedule for me when I came home from school: do all your homework first then enjoy the rest of your evening.

But as I got into high school, well...This pattern got inverted. I'd come home and be on the computer for around like 4-5 (before joining the school newspaper I'd come home at around 3) and THEN I'd half-ass do my homework until I went to bed at like 9-11. I still got all or most of my homework done but my procrastination skyrocketed.

I'd say it's all about self-control. The internet and anime don't go anywhere, you do. YOU have to do things. You can catch up on shows anytime or over the weekend but you can't always do that with school work.

I think every procrastinator knows all this but it's just a matter of getting up and doing your work. It takes more effort than mentally telling yourself you're going to do it. You HAVE to actually do it. And that's the hardest part.
