I'm usually ISFP (though I can change to E sometimes) on personality tests.

I tend to be more extroverted now compared to when I was in high school...which probably explains why I switch between I and E (I'm probably somewhere near the middle).

I've been reading a book that is about how in western culture (and in many others) the larger personalities of an extrovert is considered ideal. However, the book talks about how that ignores the value of introverted people and how trying to force them into an extroverted role removes the benefits society can gain from them. It's not a bad read if you're interested, it's called 'Quiet'.

I'm introverted as hell, but the book has kinda helped me see the value in that instead of thinking it's a negative.
It also cleared my mind of the idea that introverts are smarter haha. That's total BS that introverts try to tell themselves to make them feel better about society trying to drag them out of their shell.

I am, and have always been an introvert with many mental health diagnoses; Panic, agoraphobia and such...But these Days - even though it may not seem like much to many, I really AM trying to work on it. Lately I have been speaking more often to People that I haven't communicated with in awhile, and that in itself is a really big deal.

Hopefully soon, I will be able to work on it further to a point where; I may not still be happy with it, but I may be able to say that I can certainly notice...as can others, that I've made a bit of a difference regarding the situation.

I don't even need to take a quiz or survey to tell me I'm an introvert. I do everything outside, only going out in important events, groceries, or to see important people I don't always see. Otherwise I keep to myself in my hermit's den/ man cave and stay away from the outside for the most part.

I hate the outside, and considering my career path I don't think that's bound to change.

But just for the fuck of it I googled it to see where I best fall under. Seems I'm an INTJ, though some of it is wrong; it best described me and most accurately and fully said every trait or thing I have.

" However, their primary interest is not understanding a concept, but rather applying that concept in a useful way." This is why I only graduated high school instead of becoming Valedictorian I suppose. History and Science(with the exception of math-focused Sciences, like Physics and the like), and I guess even English, aren't really that useful if at all in any computer-related field. Not being able to apply those concepts in a useful way, i.e. figuring out how they function in a computer-related field because they don't, made me less interested in them. Am I correct in this understanding?

"Spend a lot of time in their own minds." Oh you sly little bastards.

Was gonna take the test, but making an account for it is a pain so I didn't.

Without taking it tho, it is obvious I am an introvert. full-on introvert IRL, a bit extroverted online, but I am introverted in both worlds.

Too lazy to take the test, but i'm definitely an introvert. Lately I have been a lot more talkative than usual, though..
