I'm wondering if Shogakukan is one of the publishers collaborating with Crunchyroll? Since The Tenth Prism is a Shogakukan title. Or is this just a one time thing? Because this opens up a whole bunch of questions: Would it be possible for Crunchyroll to get some of the many Pokemon manga? Would Shogakukan titles published by Viz (i.e. Detective Conan) be out of the question? Would it be possible to pick up the Polar Bear Cafe manga? It might be a good addition since Crunchyroll has the anime.

The publishers are Cork, Futabasha, Kodansha, and Shonen Gahosha. You can check who belongs to who by clicking on the series and checking the publishers. It would be awesome if Crunchyroll could simul pub some manga from Shogakukan.

Yes I was surprised when they announced The Tenth Prism. Since VIZ is co-owned by Shogakukan and Shueisha, I thought we wouldn't get any series from those two companies.

It might only be for series that are not already licensed by VIZ.

I definitely would love to see a simultaneous release for Detective Conan.
