Tomato, Tamato.

What are some words you know that, when used in the same context, people pronounce differently? Or just mispronounce all together?

Coupon - Coo-pawn, cue-pawn
Wouldn't - Woo-int, wood-int.
Tomato- Tomato, tamato (who even says tamato, though?)

Potato, patato?

But that's pretty basic, some people say things differently depending on region though.

The character "Zidane" from Final Fantasy IX.

zai-DAHN
zih-DAHN
zai-DAEN
zih-DAEN

I've heard all of them from someone at least once.

it's actually zih-DAHN, like the french soccer player ''Zinedine Zidane'.

All the accents have fun ones. If you grew up in Boston and decided to go to Harvard there in Cambridge you might end up saying Hah-vard. The cockney accent in areas of the UK loves dropping letters so you can "ear abowh Arry Pah-er" when trying to hear about Harry Potter. Love it all.

Appearently Sauna between northerners and southerners. (Dunno if its the same anywhere else.)

North: Sah-nah
South: Sou-nah

And then while on a slightly different note appearently we're the only ones who say pop while most others say soda. It's pretty amusing when someone new moves into town and starts instigating everything lol.
