Nobody's said Beast Player Erin yet; it's a kid's show, and really good from what I've seen.

Joking aside, I'm not sure if a kid would be engaged by it. It's a bit more YA+ in terms of themes and entertainment.

See that's the thing......I don't really know what other 11 year olds like. I just remember that when I was 11 I was into some pretty deep themes, at least deep for my supposed age.

11 eh? Do you know her interests? My sister hated girly things growning up, and flat out resents our parents singling her out like that. None of that princess or girly stuff for her!

While the classics are fun, one movie does not hold past 1 day, no? 2 weeks is a long time!

You got a wide range to pick.

Firstly i suggest Precure, but ive only seen the original. Magical girls ar a decent standard.

Next, Pokemon, Digimon, and Dragonball. Their is not substitute to Dragonball, its fantastic.

Next, for the more comedy inclined, The Slayers, Sgt Frog, amd aaaand.... something.

Never underestimate comedy. I had to spend a weekend entertaining my nefew last month, age 9, and turned on Sgt frog, despite having not seen it, to entertain him.

He was in a tramce i say! And the moment they pressed the "instant fist of the north star button" so was i. References be too cool.

All that said,AMERICAN ANIMATION IS FINE TOO! Dexters Lab, Courage the cowardly dog, the powerpuff girls, anything...

I recommend aetting up a que/playlist through whatever service for streaming you got, and letting her pick from there. That way you can mix it up or change when one gets dull

Ah yes, Keroro Gunsou. Hundreds of episodes of comedy gold no matter what language it is dubbed in.

Isn't there some light fanservice in Sgt. Frog, though? I don't mean like egregious stuff, but still some titillation?

I mean beyond that yes I agree. Sgt. Frog is amazing(I am sad that no one picked up this season's Sgt. Frog series.....).

If she likes video games, then you could try Log Horizon.

Or if she wants to learn about MMO's at a slow pace...lol
But definitely Squid Girl. Or Shuga Chara.

Do you think Fairy Tale would be a good one? It's not one that I have seen very much of, but I saw it mentioned earlier.....?

No. Fanservice and filler galore. And I'm strictly speaking as someone not qualified to be a parent.

Maybe it's just because I have watched so many animes, but I totally tune out the fanservice in Fairy Tail. I forget it even exists.

This is going to be recommended to an 11 year old girl. So no. I am someone who shamelessly likes No Game No Life and notices zero fanservice. I know what I am talking about.

Yeah, true. I don't really remember what I was doing when I was 11 except that it was the year I read The Lord of the Rings. It's just that the events the story goes through wouldn't really resonate for a couple more years, I don't think.

Could always try it and find out, I guess. I just wouldn't count on it.

Show her One Piece, it may be infamous among the anime community for being "un-catchup-able", but it's a truly great, and funny adventure story. Beware, it has blood, not much though. It's what got me into anime, so give it a shot.

Tonari no Seki-kun: Master of killing time could also be fun for her since it's really just about a school girl getting caught up in her classmate's procrastination. At 7 min per episode it's a fun watch.

Little Witch Academia is kinda like a Harry Potter for girls, a great anime movie right here on Crunchyroll. Fun for all ages.

Remember to praise me if she likes one of them!
