Hello,

For people like me, who have to pre-buffer an entire episode due to crappy internet (and even that doesn't work most of the time, because my ISP, for some reason, auto stops buffering after like.... 20 seconds worth has been buffered ahead of time), it would be extremely helpful to know how much of the show has already buffered. That way it's not a guessing game as to when we can start watching the episode. I find it quite frustrating that I can't see the rate at which episodes are buffering, as I can't tell whether or not anything is actually pre-loading while I have a show paused.

So, if possible, please add a progress bar for pre-loading/buffering, like YouTube and Vimeo have.

Thank you.

CR doesn't actually buffer much of the video. I'm guessing just those 20 seconds?

If you have slow internet, you should try watching at SD/480p instead of 720p/1080p.

I do watch at SD. Every single thing I watch at SD, believe me.

And it does the same thing on YouTube and Vimeo for me. It won't buffer past a certain point, usually about 20 seconds ahead and when I press play, it continues buffering. This works well for me when my internet can actually continue buffering at a speed that will allow continuous play once a bit has buffered, but I can't do that, or see that it's having trouble buffering at all if there's no progress bar until the video starts stuttering.

It's not my computer, because I've used the same computer in a place with cable internet and it works without any problems.

I have satellite internet (Hughesnet Gen 4) that promises speeds up to 15 mb/s down.... I get 1.5 down and still am paying $100+ a month for it. Shame the only other options in my area are dial up or just nothing at all.

That last paragraph has nothing to do with Crunchyroll. Just venting... but a progress bar would be, in my opinion, extremely helpful for those of us with subpar internet.
