The world of Midgard is absurd
Full of violence and gore unheard
Caim and Angelus form a pact
Which allow them to act
Arioch's a crazy one, word

So yeah. I've never been that good at poetry, but I decided to try take a stab at this. I've never played the Drakengard games, so this is all based on what I could gather from the Drakengard 3 trailers. There wasn't a limit, so I made 3 that sort of strung together. But, the first one, you could call my "main entry".

#1: A single blade, brilliant and white.
Bathed in crimson, as sisters fight.
She sings without breath.
As she brings a swift death.
All foes, fall to her might.

#2: A faithful companion, a steadfast ward.
A mighty dragon, her shield and sword.
With tooth and claw
and fiery breath from his maw.
She journeys, ever forward.

#3: Six sisters of song, by the eldest betrayed.
Much blood she will spill, 'til five have been slayed.
Filled with great anger and rage.
A great battle, they'll wage.
A legend, is about to be made.

It made me laugh although I felt a bit sorry for the guy too I also liked the irony that possibly the ones cutting off heads are the freaks so the last line has quite a sting in the tail!

As a bit of a stickler for detail I would just say to be careful about the emphasis in your second line. It should go da da DA da da DA da da DA and that doesn't fit so well with the words.
If you were to swap
"Who talked until his friends said, "Man!"
for
"And he talked till his friends all said, "Man!"
it would fit slightly better because of where the emphasis for the words goes. Say it out loud and you will hear the difference. I can't recommend reading poems out loud enough when you are debugging them! :D

Anyway good luck with the competition. I don't think I can win it because I am in the UK but what the heck, I entered anyway because I pay the same membership fees, right?

I don't know anything about the series so I didn't have anything relevant to write about. Posting what I came up with before I realized it has to be about the series :3

A swell fella with a heart full of Love
often stared deeply into the moon high above.
And when morning came,
he knew he was sane;
the light filled his mind with doves.

On my first play through
I decided to do everything true
Then a speed run
Which was terribly fun
And now what on earth do I do

The one I sent it, don't have a lot of faith in winning this.

Though from me my black blood may flow
I will fight until I can know
My sisters before me driven lame
Begging and showing no signs of shame
Asking for pity I will not show

Here is my limerick I think it's fun (I've emailed it too)

A journey to Midgard would be mighty scary,
I have heard they have dragons, and even fairies,
for the Goddess of the Seal we must defend,
the Watchers want humanity to end,
dragons and humans must pact together, to stop such an adversary.

This is my limerick. It all started over a family dinner. (I've emailed as well)

One day Zero went out to dine,
and her sisters were out of line.
Call it fate
Love turned to Hate
and now "This silence is mine."

Woooo, just realized that my elementary school limerick skills aren't quite cutting it for this hahaha! Keeping it in the specific rhythm is way harder than I thought it would be =w=;; here's my limerick!

An Intoner called Zero, there was
Destroying the world for no due cause
With her sisters now dead
Both sword and dress stained red
Her flower blooms deadly, above all laws

on a side note, the OST for this game is sooooo nice! I could just listen to it forever TTwTT
