I just barely managed to compose mine and send it in before the deadline. ^.^"

There once was a man whom sought
To win a game of which he knew naught
He looked up a trailer
And came away much paler
This was a stranger game than he thought.

I misspelled trailer as trailor in my email... erm... But who really cares about such little details, right? ^.^"
Also, *Cough* Who, not whom*cough*

Ah, well... damage done.

It's probably not the best i could have done, but I am quite happy with it.
I've never written any poetry before, so the fact that I could write this is pretty cool.

Just sent my entry.

"There once was a girl named Zero
She's not your average hero
She rampaged like twisters
To kill her five sisters
leaving flames behind like a pyro.

Well if you go by EDT, you would still have a little less then an hour to fix your entry.

Since the contests end time is on Pacific standard time, you still have like 3 & a half hours left. =]

I went ahead and did just that.

It's a little embarrassing, as I already had to send a correction email because I forgot to include my information. ^.^"
I'm just a tiny bit scatterbrained tonight.

To SailorBee, please read the mail I sent you and consider extending this contest by 1 week.

Mail>
CR Name: EpyonDestiny

Requesting for an extension to the Drakengard limerick event by a week.
This event was never shown or mentioned on either the site news, latest news or CR facebook.
And I believe the # of forum entry declined partly due to this.

Unless it was intended to be this way to reduce the # of entry as they require manual reviews
or was never intended for all CR fans all countries to enter. Please extend it by a week and add it to the site news as "Drakengard 3 Limerick Contest Extended by 1 week"

I noticed that there were shows such as "Broken Blade TV Edition" that never appear on my screen because its regional locked and am wondering if this is the case for this contest too.

I as am active CR fan won't had noticed this contest at all if not due to the link share.

Thank you for your understanding.

For the sake of fairness I think extending the contest for 1 week should be declined - since everyone who participated, and have already submitted their work, are unable to continue. So whether you catch a contest or not is your own fault I suppose. This is the thing about fairness after all.

I already sent these (Without the photos) but I thought I'd share them here on the forum.

These are all based on "NieR", which is a part of the Drakengard trilogy.

[Poem#1 is based on "Emil"]

There once was a boy who was kind
He chose to forever be blind
He then got a new body
It looked really shoddy
It was different from the one in his mind

[Poem#2 is based on the king of Facad]

The king of masks was a fool.
He never followed the rules.
He married a peasant.
Yet the wolves took that present.
They made her blood spill into pools.

[Poem#3 was based on NieR, the main character]

A fathers love is strong.
Forcing his rage would be wrong.
Through hell he would fight
With all of his might
To hear his daughters song.

Yeah the contest was announced on FB so there was not excuse for missing it and then that makes it unfair on the people who entered during the actual contest timespan

Oh, that's neat; I had no idea that NieR took place in this universe/timeline. I really do need to go back and play it at some point.
