New to posting, so probably get barked at by someone about post location and topic. You all have probably been asked this before, but I couldn't find it. Regardless,,,, What are the chances of an app for the Nintendo 3DS? The sony fanboys got there psvita app. The 3DS has Netflix and youtube so it obviously has the ability to play streaming video. I've got CR on every device I own. 1 tablet, 3 android phones, an iPhone, 360, ps3, a couple smart BD players, and my Logitech revue. Now the 3DS is sitting there lonely. I bought the 3ds for the Zelda that came out. that was really the only reason. game finished, now it collects dust. When I'm out and about and waiting for the wife or something I could use my phone to watch CR but the son usually takes it to play toddler games or angry birds. If my 3ds had an app i'd turn on wifi hotspot and be able to enjoy myself as well.

A big stumbling block to CR on the video on the 3DS is that it lacks hardware support for h.264 decoding, and its relatively low power CPU probably isn't up to the task by itself. Even if the CPU were up to the task, the application would be hindered by a small amount of RAM (only 64MB).

This would mean CR would need to encode every episode of every show in a unique format suitable for the 3DS.

A bigger stumbling block may be Nintendo itself. Beyond the big 3 (Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu), do you see any other video services on the 3DS? Even on newer hardware like the Wii U, where the hardware itself wouldn't be the issue, the situation isn't much better.
