Hey, guys. Just joined CR. I was browsing through CR's titles and I have two questions:

1. Are there no Anime movies? I was hoping I'd be able to see Heaven's Lost Property's newest movie once it becomes available. I was also recommended Wolf Children but there doesn't appear to be anything here. It looks like there are only anime TV shows. Is that it?

2. Any recommendations for me to watch? I just finished almost all of Netflix's anime (except for Kill la Kill. That's on my to-watch list). I heard a lot of hype about Black Butler but I couldn't stand it even though I did give it a chance by watching the first three or four episodes. It just didn't appeal to me. So I'm looking for more stuff to watch. The only thing is that I don't really like yaoi or yuri.

I'm kind of behind as far as anime goes. I've seen Heaven's Lost Property, Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online, Soul Eater, Soul Eater NOT, Initial D, Blue Exorcist, Spice and Wolf, Attack on Titan, Welcome to the N-H-K, etc...

1. Sadly yes there are no anime movies, yet.

2. I'm not sure about your preferences but I would suggest some of these titles. The bolded are anime currently being simulcasted or shows that are still airing.

Fate/Zero (action)

Brynhildr in the Darkness (mystery/action)

Black Bullet (action)

Gurren Lagann (Classic/action)

Nisekoi (harem/comedy)

Log Horizon (Sword Art Online, VRMMO)

Golden Time (Slice of Life/Romantic)

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (Slice of Life)

You should hopefully find one of these to be something to your liking, but go and checkout what CrunchyRoll has to offer.

Movies are harder to find streamed, for some reason. I really liked Redline however.

Ill suggest Kill la kill, again, because, go watch it.

Check out Fist pf the North Star, Log Horizon, Jojos Bizzare adventure, Gargantia, Magi, Irregular at Magic High School, um,... Magical warfare.

Just fool around and watch stuff

In terms of movies:

I don't know exactly how it works, but there's an step between the anime studio and the anime being broadcast on TV. That's the step where CR licenses anime, so if it's not going up on Japanese TV it's unlikely CR will license it.

And /no-game-no-life is really good this season.

A classic I'm rewatching right now is Gintama.

Also, do you like sports anime?

Its is not that ecchi at all, just the story was all over the place and the ending is rage worthy.

NGNL? Kinda yeah. It's not like To Love-Ru or anything, but there's a fair bit of fanservice in it.

I didn't see anything about points being required to make a topic. Looks like you don't have to have 500.

Anyway, I'm not much for sports anime. I'd say I'm more into action, magic, VRMMO like Sword Art Online. Fate/Zero was pretty good. I also don't mind some romance as long as it's not too romantic. I looked at Boys Host Club on Netflix and the opening had so many flowers and pinkness that it made me choke and removed it immediately. I did like Chobits and B Gata Kei: Yamada's First Time. Mystery is okay. I did like the first season of Case Closed but it didn't really keep me interested.

I guess I like epic hero/heroine feel-good stuff.

Thanks for the quick responses! I wasn't expecting this many this soon.

You don't see the points to make a topic because you have the anime member account and don't need to have the 500 points, you can just post directly.

Thanks for the clarification with the points thing. I haven't paid yet, I'm actually on a two-week trail period. I chose CR because it seemed to have way more titles available than Netflix or Hulu does. This is the only streaming service that I know of that offers a lot of anime titles.

Also, maybe you'll get a better idea of my preferences if I list what I've seen. I'm not sure what ecchi means, I forgot to mention that in my last post.
