so I went adventuring in the basement of my old house while visiting my mother and came across a box of old stuff I had when I was younger.... one thing that struck me was that I still had my skannerz commander which I haven't touch and even seen in a good 7 years or so and what was most shocking is that the batteries still worked.

My mom hated it because I would scan every bar code that was in the house

in case anyone doesn't know what one looks like here it is

So what are some old toys/devices that you had or may still have as a kid?

I REMEMBER THOSE! never got one but I wanted one. Not necessarily a toy but my favorite thing to do was dig a big hole in the sand at the beach get into it and my bro would put a towel over me and then place food and then wait for a unsuspecting seagull to land.

it may seem like I had a fulfilling childhood, but looking back, it was rather lonely and sad... I bought two Gameboys to trade pokemon with myself

In the later years of my youth, I had this as well as the few megaman x figures. They were awesome as all hell.

God knows where they all are now, but, I had a collection of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I had the giant individually wrapped book for Pokemon cards, and a bunch of tin boxes just full of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I also had some Transformers action figures, and cheap, various Marvel action figures. Like Spiderman, and I think a Wolverine.

I did have some barbie dolls/other dolls, but they were... Mutilated. I was kinda violent with them, I think.

My cousin's barbies had the unfortunate habit of getting caught in the crossfire between our GI Joe/Transformer/He-Man battles. Our pretend napalm far too often involved actual flames. I'm not sure how we survived childhood relatively intact.

Oh my god, I am so jealous. I remember when those were popular in the late 90's-early 2000's. I've always wanted 'em as a kid but I had no idea where to get them.
