Hello everyone! So I'm a part of the .01% of anime watchers that haven't seen FMA: Brotherhood in its entirety.

So I really want to watch it now, but I can't decide whether I should watch the dub or sub. I heard that both are very good, but I just want to see what the general consensus is before I make a choice.

Thanks in advance!

Subbed.

I don't mind dubs and don't hate it like many anime fans do, but definitely watch the subbed FMA:B.

As I already told you, it will depend on what most people saw first. should have almost added another poll to it saying what did you watch first...I want to see the graph on that haha.

Lol I wonder who that one sub vote is...xD

They are both good and I've watched both.

Contrary to what cay03269 says, I first watched it dubbed, but I much prefer subbed. I get what he's saying though and I think there's some truth to it.

I think FMA:B has the best dub ever made imo, so I'd go with dub.

I've never seen the dub, but this thread tells me they're both good options. Go with what you prefer and don't change it up in the middle.

Dubs blow. There's only a handful of dubs that do not blow. Certainly not enough to make me ever make a practice out of choosing dubs or over subs. And honestly, subs just sound more authentic to me. I mean, most anime takes place in Japan, so when they are speaking Japanese, it just feels more complete. I haven't listened to a single dub since Louie The Rune Soldier. So, I would obviously recommend FMA:B in subs.

Honestly, about a year ago I ONLY watched dubs because I thought that watching subbed would be really annoying. Then one day I just got the courage to start watching a series in subbed. Now I can't stand dubbed

It takes a lot for me to watch a dubbed anime on my own. If there are other people with me and they want to watched dubbed, that's fine. However, when I am sitting down to myself to watch some anime it is ALWAYS subbed.

Except FMA clearly isn't set in Japan. Thus in this case subbed, while AMAZING, isn't authentic.

Dubbed is more authentic. Though more realistically speaking, a German dub would be the most authentic version.

I actually just finished watching this show a few days ago and it was much better than I expected. The sub was really good, but I can't speak to the quality of the dub...

LOL I can't help but start rolling from this comment. I would agree to it....IF FMAB wasn't in any way attached to a Japanese setting that comment is about as laughable to saying Baccano would be more authentic being subbed...yeahhhh all those Japanese New York accents are so very sexy.
