I think I'm going to go with the dubbed guys. I'm just going to go off the vote count and the dub wins 22-16. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Honestly, a big part of me always choosing subbed over dubbed is because I feel like if I read it I retain more information than if I listen to it. I'm not sure why.

That is probably because you feel more comfortable reading it, more like an extra way to retain the "information", because otherwise maybe you feel like you lose something when you don't read it.

Well it is like that for me

I usually hate dubs, but I will have to admit Brotherhood was well done and definitely preferred the dub.

I can see why you want to watch your stuff subbed, but this show is one of the best dubs out there. For one, this is set in a non-Japanese environment. And second of all, Vic Mignogna totally defines himself with the role of Ed here. The dub is far more appropriate for the environment considering that it is set is somewhere based off Europe. Not to mention, I don't exactly agree with having a female voicing Ed.

^2nd that. The great job Vic did on FMA and FMA:B is a big reason he's invited to Kawaii Kon nearly every year.

One of the few shows I prefer dubbed, although I have watched both subbed and dubbed.

If I'm not wrong FMA began as a manga written by a Japanese novelist..even though the story takes place after the European Industrial Revolution I never felt much obligation to watch it in dub.

Sub all the way. Not sure if FMA does this but in some dubs even though you get same story, you get more censorship such as no blood or at least the colour of blood has change in some rare cases I have seen they take out cause words from them because most English society see anime as more of a childish thing especially in the UK. However if I ever re-watch it I might try it in dub.

can't watch brotherhood dubbed. Doesn't sound right.
Actually for any anime. Every anime is sub for me but
Attack on Titan is deff pretty impressive with the dubbing so
I will deff watch that dubbed also.

Subbed. This is a classic anime watch it in its original form (and that goes even if you already watched it dubbed which it sounds like you did :p)

This is one of the few shows where I found the dub outstanding and prefer it to the Japanese track. Can't go wrong with either though.

Dubbed, but it's okay to watch it subbed, too.
