Every single anime on earth should be devoid of horrible filler. No exceptions.

That would by nice, but it is kind of impossible for animes based on mangas still running. Well unless they did season format like America does. I think Major did that, it had 26 episodes every year, so 26 weeks on 26 weeks off. It would be impossible to run One Piece for example every single week without filler.

I know the harsh reality. That our anime viewing will always be marred by filler. Even if they didn't have to worry about the time vs. material constraints, the loss of funds from not getting any revenue off of those filler episodes would hurt every studio. I get it. But, I just hate filler. It's like having to wait for weeks or months for the real story. It blows.

Naruto for sure. Even if you take out the fillers which makes up 40% of both animes even non-filler episodes have horrendous issues with pacing and a huge amount of episodes waste a ton of time with unnecessary flash backs. Seriously, if you include the time spent with flash backs with the filler you'd probably be looking more at 60-70% of the anime being pointless crap.

Does the same apply to Shippuden?

How about Togashi's other (completed) masterpiece, Yu Yu Hakusho?

The pace for Hunter X Hunter slowed down in the Chimera Ant arc. There's no filler episodes, but then there's like whole bunch of other shit. Last episode, they wasted half the episode on Gon crying

You don't get it. There was a point to it and you will see why next episode and be hyped for it.

Yu Yu Hakusho is as good as it is, it had classic good animation, and no filler whatsoever. Well except for that last part during the Demon World Tournament. But it had a better ending than the manga.

It would be nice if I can see a remake though.

It would, be awesome if they did! But I don't think they'll be planning on remaking a series that wasn't as popular as hits like, Dbz or Jojo. Hunter X Hunter needed it, because it wasn't finished and the whole Hiatus thing was basically annoying as shit. Yu Yu Hakusho was a very unique manga and it had a great story, but it just wasn't that much of a hit.

Would be interested in seeing Jinki by Tsunashima Shirou and Black God by Dall-Young Lim & Sung-Woo Park remade, especially since they're both pretty lengthy (Jinki's author has stopped and picked up again in a similar manner to HxH AFAIC) and their anime adaptions are only loosely based on them.
