Does anyone here use the Raspberry Pi to watch Crunchyroll? I was thinking of getting one to hook up to a spare TV.
Does Crunchyroll work on the Raspberry Pi browser?

Thanks in Advance!

It only supports hardware decoding of MPEG 2 and VC-1, software decoding H.264 (I believe it is what CR is using) will probably be a bit of a task at any decent resolution on a PI. Also as far as I know Adobe has not released a binary for the PI and none of the open flash implementations support Adobe's copy protection cause of legal issues thanks to the sad state of copyright law and anti-circumvention.

Edit: You can overclock it by editing /boot/config.txt, which will probably come in handy if pursue the Android route.

Fixed VP9, should be VC-1 for hardware decoding.

You could run an instance of windows elsewhere and use a remote desktop on the Pi.

depending on model, by theory you can have an android boot up to cr.

i don't use one, but i know of it. just boot up an operating system that allows for a cr or internet app and you should be fine.

Rasp pi is nothing but a super chibi embedded linux pc with an ARM chipset. Any option you have with linux is possible there.

Browser, XBMC, ect.

Just because you can do something, does not mean you should. Unless it's fun.

Spend a few dollars on a Roku.
