If you pay to use the streaming service there should be no advertisements on this site. If you think my opinion is wrong i think i may stop paying for your service. Pls dont gouge me. thnx.

Hey there!
I moved this over to the "Suggestions, feedback" for you, it's more likely to be noticed by the people you want it to be noticed by there as opposed to the General Chat

As an Anime member, you shouldn't see any advertisements on any anime videos, or most of the web pages while you are logged in. You should still see any special banners on the front page, and ads will still be shown on Drama videos.

I wish Crunchy's site would stop asking me to download the Android app that I've already downloaded. Not gonna cancel my subscription over stuff to do with the webpage though, I subscribe for the videos.

I pay and use AdBlock. I tend to forget there are even ads until I visit on my phone for something.

Totally agree. Some of the Ads on the front page are nicely laid out and quite lovely. Most are in good taste though I do tend to like the static Ads better than the animated ones.

There are ads on the site?

I genuinely wouldn't know as I don't browse without an ad-blocker.
And as far too much of my job (IT Support) involves cleaning drive-by malware gained from infected ad-servers I don't intend to change any time soon.

Then again, I am a paid subscriber, too. So at least here I'm ad-free guilt-free.

Netflix doesn't do this. Not sure why Cc thinks this behaviour is acceptable.

Netflix also doesn't have any ads, as it has no free services.

If you provide more information about what ads you're seeing and where, people might be able to help out with this.

CR has ads on the home page, but you shouldn't be seeing them elsewhere as a premium subscriber.

If you get the big splash ad with the "Continue to Crunchyroll" link, it just means you are no longer logged in (and if you aren't logged in, of course CR isn't going to recognize you are a premium member).

Frankly, I've never been bothered by the main page ads, but a lot of that has to do with me very rarely visiting the home page and I also run NoScript, and the ads there usually seem to be Flash or otherwise script-based, causing me to not see them.

One final thought: If you think paying means you shouldn't see a single ad anywhere, you must hate Hulu Plus with a passion.

(Personally, I'm not too fond of it myself).
