What are the things you've brought that you've thought that is worth buying, but it turns out to be garbage?

For me, the Aluma Wallet. It does nothing what the commercial saids. On top of that, my whole cash couldn't fit through there. In case you wanted this "Aluma Wallet" Don't buy it. It's a rip-off and you'll waste 10$ for this stupid product.

Share your thoughts on this or that product you've brought that is completely useless.

I've come to realize that so many material goods I've bought aren't actually important and that I didn't need to buy as many video games, video game consoles, and anime discs as I have over the years.

Cisco/Linksys routers.

Just bought one the other day cause I'm reaching the limits of what my aging WRT's can handle. (things are up to decade old now)

Can't assign an IP address outside a specific and apparently hard coded range.
Can't turn off DHCP, well you can but it doesn't seem to forward DHCP on to the router that actually handles that
Can't use it as a wireless bridge

On the plus side it does have gigibit ports, I'm amazed at how many modern router still have 10/100 ports.

The specs are quite good for a sub $100 router but the firmware seems designed to prevent you from using it in a more complex manner than simply plugging it in behind a cable modem and assigning a SSID and password.. Open source firmware still seems tentative but I may give it a try rather than returning it.

Pretty much everything in my house except the sectional and my laptop. I look around at all the "filler" in my house and think "Wow.... That's like a couple thousand dollars that could've been in my savings"

The thousands of dollars of anime DVDs I have purchased over the last decade... When I was out of work, I tried to sell some of them, at Buyback, Most of them were rejected.... Selling most of them on line would have gotten me an average of eleven cents.

That velveteen box set of Rozen Maiden was pretty much worthless.

Being that I got what I wanted out of them, I feel my investment wasn't really wasted.

Not much I've bought has been worthless, unnecessary yes, but worthless? The closest was an overpriced pos car that ruined my credit and cost me thousands of dollars, god I hated it.
