I've been searching for cliché mangas to read, but all the results I get are things like, "Worst Manga Clichés" or "Most Annoying Cliché in Anime/manga." All I just want is a list of good cliché mangas that you know. Not a scenario, but actual titles. I like the cliché stories where the girl bumps into the guy on the street and they have a big argument. Next thing they know, they are going to the same school and are in the same class, marking the beginning of a love-hate relationship where in the end, they end up together. You know?? For an example I like manhwas by Hwang Mi-Ri and Han Yu-Rang. You can name authors if you'd like.
If you don't know any, I guess you can state if you like cliché stuff or not and why.
I look forward to your posts!!

I will honestly put in Nisekoi here.

It is easily the biggest title I know right now that is full of Harem/Rom-Com tropes and cliches.

That said though it is also easily my favorite manga currently running.

Oh god no...

If you are looking for cliche
read suzuka, kimi no iru machi and fuuka by seo keoji.

They are very cliche but very good. After you read a few arcs, you will probably predict everything that will happen.

Its enjoyable, and to be honest, Seo keoji is a standard that I base off all romantic dramas off.

He will get a lot of flak from people who read his previous works and want something different.

But if you are a new reader to keoji, then it should be alright.

this!!!! but in a sense, it pulls you into its own form of cliches as well.

any gag/ or parody anime will a mass of cliche.

going to go ahead and throw in sket dance since its the highschool twin of gintama.

um i find that alot of manwa to have the argument or not the best meeting with protaganist event to later find that they have to be near each other.

i love cliches, i also like magic for the same reason. you give people what they know or believe to be absolutely true, and you make them feel like a total idiot. cliche gives comfort, and a good author will know how to use it to pull a story along or to make something amazing out of it. its like ordering food from a random Chinese delivery place, to find a masterful creation of balance and flavor unlike most places that taste like "paste" or is overly sweeten/sauced.

Nanatsu no Taizai?
I dropped it pretty early because the pacing felt too rushed and I didn't like it, but it looks like it's doing incredibly well even though it's a pretty straight forward medieval fantasy adventure with a short, powerful main character, his bizarre talking sidekick, and the busty princess heroine.
Like MAR Heaven, but played straight.

Hi, sounds like this is more for recommendations, so I'm closing it. Please request recommendations in the Recommend me a Manga thread.

Also, just for future reference when starting new threads, please note that what you write in the "description" field when starting a thread is only visible as basically a subtitle in the list of threads and folks don't see it once they click into the thread, so it's easy to overlook. Therefore be sure to repeat anything important from that description in the opening post itself. In this case, it would have been useful to mention that you especially had shoujo in mind.
