One thing that caused me to rethink my current subscription was the 360 day membership rather than 365 day membership. Now I know 5 days isn't much but within 6 years, you've lost a full month of membership that was supposedly marked "full year." My solution would be to change the labeling on your membership plans. One year membership is false advertising. I don't think it is fair to the consumer to make a full year be equivalent to twelve 30 day months.

Also, another issue relating to this is that subscription and payment time is being quietly pushed back 5 days each year. This is a problem because people who subscribed during Christmas is having their sub date pushed back, which they may be unaware of. These people may then think they have more money in the bank than they really have because of the payment being made earlier. This can interfere with holiday shopping and other monetary matters unrelated to holiday season. Maybe a person wants to start saving money or has a some other payment deadline to reach before their subscription fee.

My suggestion: revert to a 365 year plan.

1 "year" is equal to 12 30-day billing cycles.

It's up to individuals to keep track of their finances, and take appropriate action, if necessary.

Other services I've used in the past have used a 365 year billing cycle. I don't see why they cannot convert to that. I wonder how well a poll would do relating to billing cycles.

Although the individual may be responsible for their finances, we should take into consideration that no one is perfect, shit happens, and we're human, no? Someone may be caught up in the hardships of life and may not notice a subscription fee that is creeping up and could ruin their week or miss an important payment. I'm merely sympathizing for people. I think it would help a lot of people out if they were given a 365 year subscription and would appreciate it. That's just my thoughts on the matter as it is a "suggestion."

Fortunately for them, they don't advertise it as "one year" but rather "12 months":

They also don't give themselves enough credit, as the 12 month plan is actually a bit over 16.65 cents per day, but close enough.

I too wish the 12 month plan were an extra 5 days (although one would still slip back a day every 4 years), but that is simply a matter of convenience. One's next billing date is always clearly visible on the Membership Status page in the settings, which is more than I can say for the other two legal anime site memberships I have.

I had the same reaction when my first annual renewal came up, I noticed the 5 day shortfall, inquired, and the same thing was pointed out to me.
