Hi everyone! I'm not sure really where to post this but I figured general discussion would be best.

I'm watching the asian drama Truth and in some episodes I'm seeing two subtitles. It kinda hurts my eyes to read and it makes it hard. Not sure what's going on, I've tried to fix it but I don't think I can.
Details are in the picture I snapped.

It happens on all my devices - computer, phone, vita; everything!! :(

That is indeed weird. Does it just happen with that particular show? You should have just opened a support ticket.

Right under the video, it says "video playback problems" and you can report stuff there I believe.

Is there a -no subtitles- option?

Yea, on a computer if you right-click a video it'll bring up that little drop down thing and you can select "no subtitles."

Hi, and welcome to Crunchyroll. I've moved this over to the Site Support / Minor Questions forum in the Help section, (that's the best place for questions related to Crunchyroll) but this is more likely to be fixed if it's reported directly. To do that, just click on Contact Us at the bottom of every web page.

In the meantime it does seem that turning off subtitles as suggested by others should make it more watchable.

I'm not certain the suggestion of turning off the subtitles (which would work only in the Flash-based web browser video) would work then. AFAIK, all of the devices uses hard subs. I certainly know that is the case for the current iOS and Android apps.

This may be a case where the video will need to be re-encoded to resolve the issue.

You are indeed correct.

I followed the directions others had said, disabling the subtitles by right clicking on the video. However, nothing happened. When I clicked English [US] Subtitle option underneath the option of No Subtitles, a THIRD subtitle would show. No subtitles only removed the third subtitle and left the original two. I did contact crunchyroll and they seemed to have resolved it, it's only showing one subtitle now. So strange... Anyways, thank you everyone! ^_^
