I am not a big Miami fan, especially being an Orlando fan. But Lebron is soooooo good - it is compelling to watch greatness. I don't mind if they win. If they don't win I think them being dethroned in the finals is the way it should go.

KD and OKC in the finals would be a fun matchup against Heat. A chance to get back after their loss two years back. And KD is even more likable after the MVP speech. Also a matchup of the top two in MVP votes for a few years running.

I don't know, man. Players are so wise now. They know what to say in front of the public and the media.
It's like they're taking some public speaking classes or they have speech coaches like the ones they do in politics.

Sometimes I just want to see an MVP that acts like Takamura in Hajime no Ippo.
He'll be like, "you guys are so weak!!! I'm declaring war on every single team!! Come and Get Some!! I'm the champion. I'll conquer all the titles and the world!! Olympic games are just a stepping stone."

Not looking good at all for my SAS. They can't score at will in the paint now that Ibaka's back, and OKC is nearly impossible to beat when Westbrook and Durant are playing like they are now. Hopefully Pop has a counterattack ready for game 5.

As for the East Finals...did anyone really think the Pacers had a chance?

Stopped watching when the Wizards got eliminated. Now I just hope someone beats the Heat.

I'll watch the Finals though.

Same here...as a Kentucky basketball Fan, I was pulling for John Wall and the Team...Too bad they didn't make it through..

Any team for 2014 NBA champions but the Heat. Dear god, anything but a 3peat for James.

It depends, I think OKC will win the west but as for the east, you just don't know. If Indiana can get there heads in the game then yeah, but the problem is that they're a young team.

I dunno, man. OKC is not a shoe-in. It's been back and forth thus far. Ibaka's back now and that helps OKC a lot, but San Antonio is number one for a reason. I seem them winning Game 5. The series could go either way.

I'm really hoping the WCF swings this year like it did back in 2012. I want another shot at knocking off the Heat. That bitter taste in my mouth from 2 years ago and still lingers to this day. Here's to hoping the Heat get knocked off their pedestal, regardless of who does it.

Yes! Yes! Yes! We need to bring LeBron and his inflated ego down, especially after his "we are the best" speech, he's good but no need to be a certain type of hole about it.

Maybe the pacers and their 0.001% chance at making a comeback will do it, if not OKC will show them where it's at

I hate being the one to have to defend San Antonio here (because I really don't like the Spurs), but they are far from out of this. Oklahoma City hasn't won anything. They're not any closer than San Antonio is. We shouldn't be putting the cart before the horse in this series. That's ESPN's job.

Kyle Lowry wasn't thought of as less. Houston would've loved to have kept him, but Lowry forced a trade because he didn't want to play for Kevin McHale. He has said it's a decision he regrets now, because of what he could've learned from McHale, but that it is what it is. And, I'm sorry, but point guard is not the position the team hurts the most at (as little as I like seeing Jeremy Lin on the floor in the final seconds). The team needs a real stretch forward, someone who can play as either small or power forward, and who is a real threat in the middle. For all his faults (and he has plenty), James Harden is more than enough as the team's creator. I'd say they need a real defensive specialist, but defense is clearly not in this team's plans.

I won't say much about Portland, because I have nothing against the Blazers, but I don't see them really going anywhere in the next few years. A few second round appearances at best before LA either starts breaking down from injuries or leaves town. And I'm sure Dame's enthusiasm about staying in Portland sours when that happens and he's all alone, because Portland is not known for making blockbuster acquisitions.

You need a legit 1 and a taller 4. I love Terrence Jones, but as an Oregon-raised 4, he's tiny (K-Love is about as big as Oregon makes them).

Portland is not going anywhere, unless three things happen:
1. Thomas Robinson becomes great.
2. Meyers Leonard gets traded for some sandwiches, because he is terrible.
3. Will Barton eats those sandwiches, because he needs some meat on those bones.
(1 might happen, 2 and 3 most likely will not.)

Paul Allen will not spend any more money on the Blazers. He's tried it once, and knows the NBA does not care about his money.

Portland needs to be good for the Northwest's sake, since it's the only b-ball for miles around after OKC conned their way to getting the Sonics. I was up in Seattle last week, and they are still selling Seattle Supersonics gear, and not in a retro way like "remember when the Dodgers played in Brooklyn?" kind of way, but like some dude that cannot get past his lady leaving town.

I still like KD and the ninja turtle. It's just a shame they aren't in green and yellow.
