Thought this would be an interesting thread to see individual's preferences in keyboards and/or mice. I bought my boyfriend the 2013 DeathAdder for his birthday just the other day and realized just how old my Razer Imperator is in contrast after 4-5 years of solid use. I'm contemplating changing things up, but I'm pretty attached.

What's your keyboard and/or mouse setup? (current and/or past)

What do you use it for? (gaming in general, specific genres, etc)

Would you recommend it to others and why?

Are you going to be making changes in the near future. If so, what?

My keyboard is a Filco Majestouch II (with Cherry Blacks). I love it, no going back after using a mechanical kb. I use it for everyday use and gaming. Lately mostly BF 4 and Diablo 3. Very sturdy, well built and comes with a ps2 adapter. Only minor thing is the legends (just wasd) faded a bit, but I have replaced all of the keys.

My mouse is a Func MS-3. Also love it. Has a few extra buttons, all that can be customized with it's software. You can save 3 profiles and quickly switch between them. Best part is it has rests for all of your fingers, so they will never touch your mousepad. http://www.func.net/en/products/ms-3-revision-2/

I am not replacing either in the foreseeable future.

What's your keyboard and/or mouse setup?
Tt eSPORTS POSEIDON (Cherry MX Brown Switch) http://i.imgur.com/36uZiKD.jpg
Razer Deathadder 2013 http://i.imgur.com/iTuPL23.jpg

What do you use it for?
This keyboard suits all purposes for me; I use it to type and game on just the same and it's been great. Ever since I switched from a regular keyboard to this mechanical keyboard I will never look back. Not to mention this one has blue backlit keys to match my blue Deathadder.

Would you recommend it to others and why?
I recommend both my keyboard and mouse for various reasons, but mostly I recommend switching to any mechanical keyboard if you haven't already. The mechanical key switches and the tactile feedback with all the other benefits of a solid keyboard like this will have you typing on cloud 9. The Deathadder mouse is a great entry level gaming mouse and also has two side buttons that you can bind to actions in games or applications. For me stepping up from the average peripherals to this have made the world of a difference to my overall experience when I'm using my PC.

Are you going to be making changes in the near future?
Considering after years of anticipation I only just got my new PC built a couple months ago, and I bought the peripherals around the same time. With that being said I don't have much else planned for my build or peripherals. The next closest purchases I'll be making are a better desk and chair.

Well there's my two cents hope it helps someone and it was fun typing this on my mechanical keyboard regardless.

I use a Corsair K95 keyboard and a Logitech G700s mouse

By far the best mouse I have owned. The G700s can be wired or wireless with its high 8200 dpi and 13 button. If you download the software you can save 5 different profiles like a configuration for FPS, MMO, or whatever.

Te K95 is a great Cherry MX Red mechanical keyboard with an aluminum chassis has white led back lighting with key-by-key customization so you can have the keys you need to be light up has 18 G-keys and it has on-board profile storage which is cool but I don't use it because I never take it with to travel.

I recently added the Razer Kabuto to my Razer collection. Although I didn't mention mouse pads in my OP, I thought I'd post a little update.

Every few months? Wow. I haven't played Dota 2 for very long, only about 12 hours so I can't imagine how much it takes to ruin them in a few months. Let me know how long the DeathAdder ends up lasting you because even my (original) Imperator has lasted me a pretty insane number of years.

Nowadays I use a steelseries 6gv2 with cherry mx red keyboard (works great) and a plain original steelseries sensei mouse.
I somewhat miss my Razer Mamba (original), but a life of only 4 years seemed too short to me (although it did take a nosedive in performance after I made the mistake of lending it to a friend.)

So far I've had no problem sticking with steelseries , but it's only been a year or so.

I am using a Model M IBM 42H1292 buckling spring keyboard, a Razar Naga 2014, and a Corsair Vengeance MM600 mouse pad for game and general computer use.

Using

-Razer Anansi Keyboard
-Razer Naga Hex(Red)

Use it for everything love that you can switch profiles for both on the fly depending on what your doing, browsing, PS, gaming, etc...
Only issue is you gotta really press down on the keys, took a while to get use to.

Mouse: Razer Naga (the old original blue one from way back when that doesn't exist anymore lol)
Keyboard: Razer Deathstalker Ultimate

The mouse is glorious, I dream about it, I eat cereal with it, I brush my teeth with it, I watch porn with it, I play catch with it, I watch the razer logo pulse, I sometimes use it for playing games, and when I do, I button mash them side keys. numpad gets jealous.

The keyboard is $250 that shouldn't have been spent, It was a kawaii little touch screen instead of a numpad, the same stuff the Razer Blade laptop has. Its cool, I haven't done much with it, but when you have 3 screens already you really don't need the thing. So I'm thinking of replacing the keyboard soon lol

Haha, I love that description. The DeathStalker is definitely indulgent, but if I were to buy a keyboard I'd personally go for the BlackWidow - I'm a pretty big fan of mechanical keyboards - and it doesn't have any OTT added features that aren't essential.

Razer Blackwidow Ultimate for the keyboard, and Steelseries Sensei for the mouse.

Personally, I prefer the ergonomics of the Imperator and Deathadder in terms of mice.

My setup I use for everything in general. Typically, what's good for gaming works really well in everyday tasks anyway.
