Has Funimation explained why they haven't uploaded it yet?

My guess is a materials or approval from Japan delay. Daisuki is also streaming it and is late on their date too:

Like the other series, Blood Blockade Battlefront will also start streaming on April 5, with new episodes added every Sunday right after the Japanese broadcast. The simulcast will be available with English subtitles in Asia (except for some countries, e.g. Korea, China and Armenia).

EDIT: seems it is on Daisuki now, just for Asia region though.

Ah I see. I wish Funi would at least explain though, they're just leaving everyone in the dark.

Pffff you're such a debbie downer! The start to Spring has been fantastic, I haven't seen a season with so many good opening episodes in a long time.

Stop with your negativity!!!!

Hey, I liked this, get angry at me in the Dungeon blabliblub or Seraph thread, but not here

2 things:
1.) Where in the hell is this on Funimation's site or are they being EXTREMELY lazy right now and decided to take their sweet ole time translating this?

2.) Why does Funimation have a queue for subscribers if said queue button doesn't work? I can see why people prefer CR, it's been over a year and a half since I last used Funimation and now i remember why I stopped...

Agreed that Funimation's queue sucks, I have 2 of the new simulcast titles in my queue, that don't show up in it, yet says it is in my queue. It's laziness on the web designer's part, imo. I know on Crunchyroll that once I put a title in my queue, as soon as an episode is put up, it'll show up in my queue.

lot of stuff seemed left out, my opinion is that they should of used the first three chapters as 2 episodes instead of trying to cram it into 1

Is anyone else getting these same vibes???

It's like a fusion of Baccano, Kill La Kill, and Trigun (yay Trigun author!)....but with Bones behind it...which is the greatest thing ever!
Seriously impressed! I hope it continues to be just as good each episode!

This was top of my hype list this season and it did not fail to deliver!

I think this indicates the show might be a 1 cour in this case. Bones does have another 2 cour ongoing into Summer in addition to Show By Rock this Spring Season and....akagami no shirayukihime for Summer.

Honestly, the show felt like Hamatora meets Baccano meets Trigun. And I am confused on what is going on.
I have to say, I kinda of disliked it. Is the manga better?

The pacing in the first episode was a bit quick and the transitioning was also pretty wonky. That being said, i liked the first episode. Like a combination of Kill la Kill and Hamatora; two mediocre anime to make a potentially good anime. Has that Bones style too, so that's good.

I have mixed feelings about this. The world and the characters look like they have a lot of potential, but most of this episode was frantic to the point of incomprehensibility. Considering the amount of information they had to disperse in one episode that is understandable, but if the trend continues it will be a problem. That said, I thought that the opening was very well done, giving me hope that the show can get its act together. I also thought the bad guys tantrum at the end was really funny for some reason.

White, the anime original character, seems like she is going to be important. In that light it looks as if this anime will adapt the first few chapters and tie things together with an original story arc. Whether or not they leave the door open for future installments is anyone's guess. I felt that Trigun was made stronger with the liberties the anime took, so I am not sure that unfaithfulness is necessarily a bad thing. I have not read this series' manga, but Nightow had major coherency problems in Trigun.

I'm definitely willing to give this one a chance despite a weak opening. It has a lot going for it despite some early flaws.

I can see it being 1 cour, but with the amount of things they glossed over I just hope doesn't become a common occurrence cause from the way I see it has been a long time since bones has stuck to the source and I wouldn't be to surprised if the amount of time saved would be used so they can write in an anime original arc somewhere
