So, recently, I noticed that the Premium Member link at the top of the page became Remove Ads. While I like the idea of promoting the benefit for being a Premium member, there are more benefits to being a Premium member than just ad removal. I honestly, don't like the button Remove Ads because it feels empty and the only reason why someone should get the Premium membership. I like Premium because it has the most up to date episodes available when they come out, rather than having to wait a week. I think the two benefits go hand in hand and placing the removing of ads above the other benefit is bad. Also, if I have Premium, I can view it Crunchyroll through my gaming system.

So, why focus only on the removing of ads?

I agree because even when your not a premium member you can just use addblock

I don't see the link, but that may be because I'm currently a Premium Member. Ads are probably one of the most visible and appreciable benefits of paying for CR, but I doubt they're trying to say that's the only one.

If you have adblock enabled, you may not be able to watch some episodes when ads don't load.

I opened another browser (IE) where I'm not logged in and grabbed it:

It changed back to Premium and looks way more appealing than the Remove Ads.
Thank you so much whoever changed it.

I pulled up CR in IE again (not logged in) and I still see "Remove Ads".

Perhaps CR is expirementing with which gets more clicks, and it is luck of the draw as to which one a viewer sees.

I also agree. Premium first off all gives access to episode a week earlier than standard account.
Plus these who use adblock wouldn't even bother to check it.

It's rather too unattractive and tacky. With "Premium", there's a bit of class and refinement in the presentation. It doesn't seem to desperate as the way this is currently being displayed. Additionally, it feel a bit too excessive since everywhere else it is already asking for the membership, especialy in the video. Yeah, this move seems a bit too much.

(I switch back and forth membership status, so this is my weigh in for this.)
