yea forreal, it is pretty amazing, to think an American manufacturer would try to top the japanese companies with the warranty programs.

id like to see how this turns out. it might even shift the market because toyota is the leading in worldwide sales right now.

Yeah, my friend is hoping to get into a Dodge/Chrysler dealership here. I wanna hear how the warranty actually works, they probably must regulate it under very strict conditions. But the idea sounds pleasing. Aha.

From what I understand, the only real downfall is that you can never mod your car and you have to get all services (like oil changes, and everything else) at the dealership.

Theres a law, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, that says that dealerships can not void your warranty based on aftermarket products alone. They have to provide tangible proof that the modification contributed to the failure of said repair.

Like...if you have a cold air intake, and you go in and want them to warranty your springs...they have to do it, unless they can provide reason as to why the springs would fail as a direct result from the presence of the cold air intake.

I thought Japanese "street cars" are also muscle cars. I do prefer the Japanese muscle cars because they look a whole lot cuter than manly. Hahahaha
