i love to write, too. mainly in roleplays. im not big on fanfictions, although ive done some of my own mini ones with original characters~

i dont really have a problem writing any emotions etc. with characters, since im not them and im not personally attached. although it can be difficult to express something you've not experienced yourself. but thats the power of words and imagination, you can express it how you imagine it.

I enjoy it, just haven't done any 'proper' writing in ages...

Almost always use my own characters... Latest 'project' that's sort of ground to a halt is a visual novel/bullet hell game with a friend. Have the concept, basic story, lore, history, infos etc all nailed, but haven't gotten on with character designs enough to start haha

aaaah procrastination ;_;

I love writing so much. I'm going to publish a 73,000 words novel in three weeks, so right now I'm very nervous and with that feeling of something is ending.

I like to write and I've been working on my own story (You can check out my prologue and tell me what you think of it here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-847833/what-do-you-think-of-my-story ). But lately I've just lost motivation to work on it. I know that I have a great world and characters in my head, but I just can't seem to find the effort to work.

Other than that I've written a few short stories for school assessments.

I don't write fanfiction because I like to build my characters from scratch rather than using a template but I've enjoyed reading a few, mostly ones that take the characters and make them their own, with their own world and lore different from the source.

Its alright if you dont write fanfic(we all have our preferred genre). Loosing motivation been there(i get distracted easily that the characters in my head that were there vanishes any moment) but if we really want to be the greatest or recognized writer, we gotta need to make an effort of focusing on making the story and eventually complete it but, but, BUTT(hehe), but, if it doesnt make sense anymore, then stop, im sure there are still other stories you want to write.

P.S: Your story's prologue is good,(good job (y)), nice character names, the message behind your story is very clear. Wheneve I read about Inazuma, God comes to mind.

Its good. Keep going buddy, fighting!

Nice prologue, good setup for whatever will follow! :D

I'm assuming it will progress into more of a narrative as you go on? Good luck if you carry on!

Thanks for the support. I'm still working on Chapter 1 which introduces my MC and the immediate world around him.

What I plan for this story is kind of a satire of the "Fantasy-Fellowship go on a quest to save the world" trope. It will have the characters go through trauma after trauma, learning truths about the world that shake their existence and all the while having the literal forces of Balance and Chaos fighting it out in their heads.

You can imagine what that would do to a person.

Oh, by the way, when I say trauma, I mean that they will die countless times, only to be resurrected a few secs later, with the memory of each and every death still intact.

(You can kind of tell that I like the psychological breaking of characters. )

You bet. I'll post the updates on my forum and I'll let you know.

I won't be able to do much at the moment though because school assessments are a thing.
