Fun fact: the authors of Kodomo no Jikan and Onii-chan Control are both women. Does this answer your question?

Some women are more perverted than a lot of men. Of course women can be very perverted, too. It just happens that of the two, men are usually the more perverted ones.

No, they can't. They are physically incapable. They do not have the biological capacity for it. It has never and will never happen, etc, etc.

Exactly, they do not belong to Pervertebrata subphylum.
And shut are the Gates of Hell for them forever.

Hell yes! :D

Heads up, guys:

Romance novels that you see women read are often borderline pornography (especially historical romances), or down-right are.

I've been reading smut since 5th grade, but few realize it in public. I had a game of occasionally embarrassing a few classmates (usually male) by showing them pervy book covers and/or the pictures on the pages after the covers. I was sometimes cruel enough to read excerpts out loud. Anyone who has read Catherine Coulter's Season of the Sun can imagine the horror and hilarity that comes with announcing paragraphs that involve an certain someone named Olaf.

At that point, it's not really a romance novel so much as it's Erotica.

Side note - I'd bust a gut laughing if I knew a girl who read it aloud.
