Mexican, then Japanese, then Italian. Maybe Irish somewhere in the mix too since potatoes = heaven.

The only Irish food I had involved some bread or cake(I can't remember). It was really good though.

That sounds interesting. Did you go to an Irish style restaurant or something similar and eat it? And I guess maybe it's more of the Irish love for potatoes then specific recipes that I like about Irish food.

Peru has 4000 different species of potato. >_>

My dad used to work in a potato institute, and you had to have your face scanned by video cameras before you could enter. Like in the movies. lol

No. I had this back in college. They weren't celebrating St. Patrick's Day but it was something else.

Peanut butter soup and/or groundnut soup. Find some West African friends, they'll know what's up. Also: charcoal-grilled food of any culture has to be up there.

That's right! I want to go to Peru just for that reason! So many potatoes, so little time But that's bad ass as hell! That should be a movie :)

Not much beats a thick American burger for me, I would eat WAY more sushi if it wasn't so expensive around here...I always liked eating sushi before a game rather than the typical Subway as it still was flavorful and made me feel full without weighing me down. But a big burger with bleu cheese and mushrooms melted and piled high just cannot be beat in my opinion! ^_^ "It's like a party in my mouth!"

I'm surprised so many people actually like Chinese food. I think the only thing that's worth eating in Chinese cuisine is dim sum or peking duck. Everything else seems outrageously plain or bland.

Filipino pork menudo
Filipino chicken adobo
Filipino beef kaldereta
Beef Pho
Shrimp & vegetable tempura
Thai red chicken curry

I'm mostly a fan of Southeast-Asian cuisine.
